hello, i am considering getting either the sora v2 or the op18k. i don’t care about the wire on the op1, use fingertip right now but also like claw. i think i will enjoy the shape and performance of the op1 more but also want the low weight of the sora v2. as you have both of them i would appreciate insight on whether the weight difference is enough to justify the sora over the op1. also great vids keep it up :)

go for op18k. Sora v2 has worse built quality

Both are great mice. OP1 8k has better build quality and is more narrow/overall feels a bit smaller. There's a limited edition purple OP1 8k coming up around the end of the month with even newer sensor if you're interested in that. Might sell out fast though.

Most of the reviewer I saw on YT did mentioned this mouse may encounter double click messed up with single click issue. I think their switch did contains variations and had not be stable yet.

The previous (early stage) firmwares had issues that needed ironing out But after the latest one I haven’t encountered any issues whatsoever

Can someone explain to me how a 8000hz polling rate is noticeable on a 144hz monitor. From a logical standpoint, it doesn't make any sense. It wouldn't make much more sense on a 360hz monitor. At the same time, i can imagine there is a difference.

I think that’s something I failed to emphasize more on - but the sensor and cursor fluidity itself FEELS and LOOKS smoother against other mice I have.

I guess its similar to how getting 200 fps on a 144hz monitor wont show you more frames but it will still reduce input lag further.

What, call 1000 that exist? Zaunkoenig is too niche to ever really be anything. Waiting months and months and months at a time to drop 400 on a mouse that can be compared to an 80$ mouse

Depends on your grip style, for fingertip grip m3k is better but for claw grip op1 8k
