after some hours aim training and trying to improve my form and stability I realized the shape of my G pro Superlight was prohibiting me from truly advancing and the switches are just a tad bit too heavy leading to small shakes in my aim due to the extra tension required to press the switch despite my flicks and tracking being on point most of the time that little bit of wobble when I would go to press my mouse buttons would cause me deviate all because of how the shape forced my hands to grip the mouse and actuation weight
@advancegeo29863 ай бұрын
this caused alot of hesitation in my aim where I had to mentally make note of where my crosshair placement everything was alot more deliberate then I liked. My philosophy for gaming peripherals is that they should become an extension of yourself everything should be natural and instinctual you shouldnt have to think about if youre crosshair is on target you should just be able to get your aim on point without thinking about it kinda like flow state, if you have to think about it too much it slows you down and you become reactive instead of proactive and put yourself at a major disadvantage
@greippuli91663 ай бұрын
I thought like this before, but truthfully a mouse did not hold me back a single time, it was always nothing but a skill issue. Before I blamed my bad aim on the gpx, but after acrually improving, I do just as well with the gpx as any other mouse. I see WAY too many people keeping to blame their peripherals, whilst it's obviously the users fault why they play bad.
@Keeahh3 ай бұрын
I also partly agree. I think peripherals and setups can help improve both quality of life and performance. However, the biggest part of the pie, by far, is just getting better and putting the hours in. Also, becoming too fixated and blaming equipment will only push you away from this. That being said, I can also imagine a scenario where a person's equipment might not be suitable for their hands or playstyle.

@@Keeahhsee I have over 3000+ hours across my g pro and pro superlight. They were the first mice I had actually picked up to try and improve generally in less then a year I went from an average of 0.8-1.3kd to an average a 2.5-3kd across basically every game I play sure you can say skill issue if you want but it genuinely requires me to use way too much tension and strain when gripping aiming and clicking the buttons which makes my aim shift and wobble ever so slightly for me, thats not something I can fight with a different grip style or just putting more hours on the mouse its not a skill issue its genuinely just not comfortable and intuitive for me to use and I would greatly benefit from a less symmetrical mouse with lighter clicks, I have a high end pc I have good headphones ive done nearly hundreds of hours of aim training and sensitivity tuning my mouse is the one thing that stands out and jumps out to me as not ideal in my setup.

@@greippuli9166 I dont have bad aim it genuinely causes me to use more effort then i need to, causing me to tense up because its not letting me grip it in an intuitive way. its like holding a pencil with your fist sure I can do that but its gonna cause me to put too much force on the pencil and cause me to be really sloppy because its awkward and doesnt suit me trying to get gud with a subpar mouse for my particular hand size and grip is only going to compound my issues and make me aim worse then I am

Where is your source that it has the lowest click latency?
@Keeahh2 ай бұрын
I have seen reviewers like hausgaming and others measure latency both with Nvidia's LDAT and with finalmouse's XLAT. The OP1 8k seems to always have the lowest click latency, however, what I am mostly referring to in the video is the OP1's SPDT mode, no other switch on the market works this way (as far as I am aware of) and it definitely feels very intuitive

Wouldn't they beat like 9/10 mice nowadays if they came out with a wirless 4k version? I'd love to try it but see no point to going back to a cable. I use very light fingertip mice like the HSK or HTR, I definitely don't want a wire lol but the mouse seems nice
