May December and Anatomy of a Fall my top 2! You are right about the Almodovar's tone on May December. I really didn't connect at all with The Holdovers, seeing a lot reviews with praise and I'm thinking that they see other movie, not bad, but bland and empty, not for me.

Thanks for the comment! I made a top 20 on my Letterboxd, and Poor Things came in at number 15. I thought it was a great film. I liked it a lot more than the people who weren’t too keen on it, but not as much as those who really adored it. In terms of Lanthimos’s films I’d say I still prefer The Favourite, The Lobster and Dogtooth to it.
