Just moved from north end to the bay last year, and departure bay is my favourite place that I’ve ever lived. The only thing not mentioned was all the walk to access points to Linley valley for hiking and lakes. As well the neighbours in departure bay are a community that host neighbourhood events and get togethers. Fantastic area and community

👍 You said... Grab a coffee and walk down the beach and talk to a stranger just sitting there. I love that idea, however it is not something that happens in the U.K. I guess people in Canada really are more friendly. Love it. Vancouver Island is quickly becoming a contender. I try to keep other people out of the videos. But I can’t tell you how often I’m down here doing these video guides and people talk to me constantly. Everybody is so friendly and so excited that I am promoting their amazing little town. especially in the mornings, everybody’s sitting and enjoying the sunrise. Many people are on the beach doing stretching and yoga. This is what it’s all about, living the island life!!! Thanks for commenting!

@@Nanaimore That's nice of you to reply. Longing for a more outdoor life. For me I'm looking to see how I would live in a certain area.... Resteraunts, bars, schools, hospitals, recreation etc. Your uploads certainly help. So thanks. Oh and luckily I'm going from poor to millions 2027, so looking for a house that can accommodate 16. Technically its crypto, researched for the last 2 years and bought a fair bit. Something happening (XRP) Market will rise 12th Sep slowly and should starting moving up now. This is the bottom of the market, the best time to buy.

Are there rentals in Departure Bay? I’d love to live here when I move in may! My family is going to Vancouver island in may next year and I’m planning on moving there while I’m already there! Nanaimo still my plan!

The best way to find rentals is going to be in the closed Facebook groups where landlords offered their properties for rent. The best one I’m aware of his called Nanaimo rentals.

When you produce your videos, can you reduce the volume of the transitional music? I have to constantly adjust my volume control whenever it switches between you talking and the music. I enjoy your videos but the music, and its volume, is a negative. Thanks.

@@Nanaimore thanks. I don't normally watch videos with transitional music, but I think it's something specific to the speakers on my tablet, as you say. Perhaps their frequency response is too good. Anyway, I'm enjoying your videos and have subscribed.
