FYI - Once you insert a pod and close the machine, the machine begins it's warmup phase (slow, repeating pulse of the light). You can push the button at any point during the warmup phase. The machine will simply finish heating up and then start brewing as soon as it's ready.

This exact model just delivered today. It replaces a Vertuo Plus that I bought last week and leaked all over the counter. This unit feels more substantial and I can’t wait to have a cup in the morning. That swing out water reservoir with the Plus unit just seems like a wonky design flaw and I’m guessing is where the leak was coming from. But I returned it to Walmart the next day and ordered this unit on Amazon. It’s all set up, prepped and ready to go!

So I’m new to the whole home frothing and I’m excited to learn more. I did fill mine right to the max line because I was making multiple drinks and mine actually started over flowing and spewing out… am I not supposed to fill to the line?

First of all, FYI: wayward coffee grounds build up in these machines and that's most likely why yours is taking way too long to brew. Mine takes about 1/4 of that time. You might try Nespresso's cleaning kit. Secondly, I'm so happy this video is here to help with 'use instructions' because I'm gifting my little sister with a Vertuoline machine for her birthday and sending her this link. After tasting my coffee, she told me she'd buy one when her ship comes in.

I have the same machine as you and what I did as I said a way for the stainless steel custom refillable cup that you put in and it has the readable bars underneath the edge or the lip like the aluminum ones do but you could refill. This one is stainless steel and you can fill it with any kind of coffee you want they’re like $27 online

In all honesty it is also hard to tell in person. Best guess is that it is chrome over plastic. Can't tell for sure.

I just got mine. Having trouble making a full cup of coffee. It only drips a little. Will keep playing with it until I get it right.

Nespresso sells these descaling kits which are very easy to run through the machine. Here is a link: www.nespresso.com/us/en/order/accessories/vertuo/descaling-kit If you think your machine needs more cleaning then that provides, I would suggest reaching out to their customer service as i don't think the part below the cup comes apart easily.

The coffee pods generally yield 7.77 ounces. The espresso pods are individual shots, so, 1.3 ounces roughly.

It’s not all that noisy. Notice that it only got louder when he brought the camera close to the machine. I hate to break it to you but expresso machines make noise🤪

I was worried about the noise after watching this but I got the machine anyways and I’m not sad at all. I have young kids that I try to make coffee quietly as possible so not to wake them. It’s not a big deal for me personally
