I think GR 1906L (mesh ones) is ugly. GR 1906L does not look 'smart' at all. 990 series, 992, 993, 2002R are far better than GR 1906L in every occasion that I will match GR 1906L. With that being said, however, I think leather version like Junya Watanabe collab is dope. Leather is what makes the look more smart. Mesh is no no for loafers.

I also bought both pairs at resale, but good thing is that i got the white pair under retail and had been wearing it a lot and absolutely loved it. While for the black pair i had to pay on top of retail for it, i felt that i would get lots of use out of it too, and i just thought that by not getting the AMM air max 95 and air force 1 which i know i would not be wearing much, would rather get a pair i know that i would use a ton of.

UPDATE: I saw the sizing portion of the video lol. Yeah! I wore my white Junya pair with either Stance or Uniqlo (those dress socks) and they fit perfect, and even with a little room. For the other pairs I'll definitely aim for 10.5. Thanks again!

i'm still amazed we haven't even got the gr pair release in au/nz. not trying to pay $400~ usd for the silver launch pair. from what i see on goat and stockx the junya pairs didn't even release past size 11 which means im out of luck completley unless i get a gr

Hi Josh! Congrats! I just secured the black pair this past weekend! Can you comment on sizing of these specific pairs vs. the 'general' 1906 loafer pairs? I took a chance on size 10 with the white pair and thankfully it was a great fit, however, I noticed that these Junya pair had softer leather in the uppers vs. synthetic upper materials on the other pairs. Do they fit the same across the board or did the Junya pairs fit better? I'm hoping it's consistent but if a half size up is better for the more synthetic pairs, then that insight would also help me a ton! Thanks for the great review!

I love NB and the way they keep reinventing themselves to the point where they are ahead of competitors when bringing new stuff. But these are easy pass for me. I believe they’ll be considered atrocious once the trend is over.
