7:30 Reios + sole survivor = nearly GG 9:30 Poison dart nice for control nature decks, but Poly still a problem XD 8:20 Gama + Shadow of Lethenon = insane to mill out the enemies deck (also Shadow Matriarch) 4:48 Hortuk is my favourite card here, good for defending and attacking

For Magic, the 1/1/1 structure add to hand and directly pulling a structure from the void is super strong, the only problem is no good structure so far!

Hortuk is really strong, probabbly the best card in the set, can even confuse copperp. 7 mana 11/11 stats blitz protect are you kidding me?

Word from play testing was that he wasn't that strong for the slot. Tbh I have a hard time believing that, he seems really good to me too.

Good point! The only issue...is that....he's not a Dragon 🤣 Therefore I never noticed. But yeah you could do the same with Oni as well. Maybe a full deck of Oni, Familiar, and Dragon + inks!

The new set is really ridiculous There are many bug cards that are not balanced at all Apparently, the game team is more concerned with sales than the balance of the game

A lot of the strong cards can be countered with simple spells like Curse of Greed. They aren't locked though so anything too strong can still change

@@CopperPitch They didn't change Thaeriel or any of the Whiteplains cards... I doubt they're gonna do squat about this ridiculousness. Let's all ask why they chose Olympians to buff, and why consistently to give War the craziest decks? Most cards are CHEAP. This makes it easier for players to get into the game, because they can put $20-50 down and slay everyone. Ugh.

Finally deception players can have a leech creature without paying $1000! That gives me a little hope that the game will not just be a handful of whales in mythic, except that they have chase cards........... completely ruins the game for most

Yeah Idk what the chase cards will be in this set but the entire council of mortals begged them to not make the same mistake as they did with Lights Verdict and Blade of Whiteplain/Thaeriel... I'm nervous to see what the 2 chase cards here are gonna be. We'll see soon!

Yes, ward and protected will indeed block the poison dart. You have to get rid of them before throwing that dart

@@CopperPitch I would rather run Malfunctioning Servitor or grass roots over then posion dart. I think nature did not do very well from this new set unless Ally works for every creature of the same tribe you have on the board.

Poison Dart can target something, malfunctioning cannot and leaves a body behind

@@CopperPitch Malfunctioning however also stops the card going to the void and any afterlife effects . And can go through protected and armor but yes it is random unless only 1 target.

Both, imo, NFA DYOR! Mainly they would look AMAZING if they added better effects to each higher tier (think Marvel Snap, each upgrade makes the cards nicer: 3D, parallax, animated, animated border, etc)

I'll be using your template to make my tier list video, so cheers in advance! 🍻 I think you're probably right on most cards but there HAS to be something busted in these new cards. Think you're too bearish on the power some of these hold potentially. Time will tell!

But that's fine as we don't need more power creep, so will be nice to re-explore decks around tribes now. Yes, please use my tier list 💙 Also, the 2 missing are Bitter Endings (Epic) and Dark Deliverance (Rare), which are mentioned now on the buyers guide 🤫
