My all time favorite CIGAR of all time is the Padron Family Reserve #46.

I’ll take a loose draw over a hard draw any day. At least I can control it, but it would be hard with that cigar. Padron is just superb. Cheers from Pennsylvania brotha.

I have never smoked a bad Padron, they've all been at least very good.

The 46 years is probably my favorite NW cigar ever. Burn, construction and combustion are simply marvelous.

My favorite Padron has to be the No.85 Maduro. 1964 family reserve to commemorate the man's 85th B-day. Was going to be the No 47 but they changed it as alluded to. The 45 there that's being reviewed is a majestic cigar though! It's my second favorite from Padrón! Great review. You're spot on.

How would you stack this Padrón up to some of your favorite Cubans? Thanks.
@ChristopherGrav32 жыл бұрын
That is one of the very few I haven’t tried out of the Family Reserve series. My current favorite is the 1926 Series 40 Years Natural. The torpedo tip gives it a bit more of a resistance to the draw too. Hard to go wrong with a Padrón.

Padrón make incredible cigar and I highly recommend this one. Actually get the maduro it's definitely better.
@tajzikria53072 жыл бұрын
My all time favorite was always the 1926 #40 until I smoked the Family Reserve #45. A few weeks ago I tried the Family Reserve #46 and had an orgasm! I am an avid Cuban guy but this #46 was something else!

@@cigarinspector2023 You are absolutely right! I recommend the Family Reserve #46 and if you don't have an orgasm I will eat crow! And, Im a guy that has been only smoking Cubans for 20 years.

I may have to snag one when I head to Florida for The Great Smoke next week. I was trying to figure out a good celebration smoke for missing a year.

I've smoked a couple of them and it's not for me. I didn't enjoy them. I can review it but it's probably not going to be favourable.

You don't look hard enough for cigars. Cigarsofhabanos have tons of padron family reserves available. Don't pay those extortionate montefortuna prices mate.

What do you reckon your top 4 nicaraguan cigars would be for a beginner? new to the world had a few cubans now. really like ramon allones, bolivar, hoyo brands, h upman
@cigarinspector20236 ай бұрын
Nicaraguans are generally going to be stronger than Cuban cigars so as long as you don't mind the strenght I would suggest looking at some of the premium Maduro Padron cigars. Oliva cigars are some of my favourites too. Additionally., cigars from brands such as Joya De Nicaragua might appeal to you more due to several mild and flavourful options. Give a few a try first and see how you get on.

***BS…! It must be an altitude or humidity or handling issue but Padrones have been the BEST, and most consistent draw cigars I’ve EVER smoked in my entire life and I’ve smoked most everything. Usually it has something to do with the handling.
@cigarinspector20232 жыл бұрын
It’s a pretty common claim from many people. If lots of people are making the claim then it’s not a handling issue especially if other cigars they have are performing better. Several companies in the industry lean too far towards having a loose draw and it ruins the cigar.
@MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC2 жыл бұрын
@@cigarinspector2023 my rant is a hard draw and having to light the cigar over and over. Every time I’ve gotten a Padron that was not abused in handling, you light it once, the ash stacks up almost half the size of the cigar, and it is such a wonderfully easy draw. Really the worst thing is a hard draw where you have to light the cigar tens of times. The only time that has ever happened with me with a Padron is when they have been abused in transit. I’m smoking one now and the draw is actually my favorite thing about Padrones, having smoked them for over a decade.
@MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC2 жыл бұрын
@@cigarinspector2023 please let me know WHAT those companies are (if you would) that lean towards the looser wraps. I would like to smoke those. My biggest complaint is when I can’t get a good draw. And I’m always having to poke holes through my cigar. That almost never happens with a quality Padron.
@lorraineperron48402 жыл бұрын
No such thing as the best Nicaraguan cigar, too many great Nicaraguan cigars but this one is really up there with maybe ten other brands all much more reasonable than Padron.
