The first and only time I partied in Munich they closed with a waltz and everyone in the room did it! Impressive. I had fun at the Metropole in Berlin too, great music. This was back in the 1980s. Cheers, keep partying

I think I went to only one of these kinds of ultra-posh clubs before in my life. It was on a rooftop in Vienna, and it was so posh that absolutely nobody was dancing. Dancing must have been forbidden, because the music was so loud, and that would have naturally been all you could do besides drink. Because of this loud music, we only sat and sipped our 15 euro 1-shot cocktails staring at each other, and then paid and left to go to midnight bowling instead.

Seeing you in the VIP area has explained to me the source of my trauma. I spent an entire evening in a VIP area at the Oktoberfest. The whole time, looking down at the Geringverdiener partying, while I was with the VIPs, like in the shot of you in the VIP area. The only time I was allowed to have fun was when the TV cameras came around and we had to pretend. The police stopped me on the way home. It was the most fun I had all evening. I have more stories like this. But I do not have the strength to share them. Unless you give me your „watch“.

I’ve only partied in Germany once and it was in Munich. Everyone was dancing and chatting and singing along to the songs. No it wasn’t techno... and It was a really good vibe. Left at 8am super wasted super tired of dancing. You’re right, German guys there are on the hunt. I went alone btw (solo female traveler) and walked up to a group of girls to ask if I could join them. Made loads of new friends. I must’ve been lucky or something.

Everything in Munich is status. Order the most expensive drink and that it must be with sprinklers so that everyone can see that I ordered the most expensive things. I live in Munich, I love it and it's comfortable for me, but sometimes social life can be so difficult because material things come first.Everyone is stiff when they go out to the club, even emigrants take on the same characteristics.
