Yes yes yes!! I bought an iPad before starting Calculus I and it’s been amazing!! Love that it’s like a personal whiteboard that I can sketch, erase all I want. Thanks!

Awesome! Try out Goodnotes 6 if you haven’t already. I wish I had it when I was in college.

Wow, you guys spend so much time in choosing a notebook!! We in India just do math on any random paper we get. I usually do math on ultra cheap loose paper, the paper is so bad that it almost feels like tissue paper. If I don't have anything in front of me then I just grab today's newspaper and scribble math problems. I also use a pencil to do math so that if I make mistake I can erase and move on, that way I conserve space.😅

I'm taking CS at my first semester of college, and I've already burnt through 5 notebooks and it's been really inconvenient trying to go back to my notes or look for past problems. I hope I can get an Ipad soon.

Exactly the same issue I had with spirals and notebooks. I didn’t like having 1 subject in multiple places.

80 math problems every two days from the textbook the iPad is the only thing that made it easier

i really like the concepts app for iPad. gives you a nearly infinite canvas so you aren't bounded by the size of the notebook page you're on. i use a dotted background so i have something to line up against but it isn't in my way if i want to do something freeform. my pocket notebook is just printer paper cut in half and then folded again in half. makes for an a6 pocket notebook. and half a ream of paper'll get me a couple dozen of them. you can even print custom pages if you've got the need. i either staple it or run it through the sewing machine to secure the spine.

Concepts?? I’ll have to check it out! That’s a really awesome idea for a homemade pocket notebook.

A combo. The iPad with good notes to do all notes and practice, and a normal notebook where you only write math concepts, theorems and laws and perhaps one example problem to accompany each. This works for me.

i like blank sketchbooks. they combine the foldability of spiral notebooks with the freedom of blank printer paper

I use ipad or if i have to use paper i love a spiral with plastic covers and dotted paper.(can be square or blank, but NEVER just lined) IDK why

A composition notebook would be perfect if you could fold it in half like a spiral... I have a fire tablet but its awful for math because there's no stylus like the apple pen. Does the ipad stop your palm from messing with the screen if you use the pen?
@KaijuMathematics126 ай бұрын
So you can tell the iPad how you write, so it will know your palm rests on the screen or not. It’s pretty good about not shaking the whole screen when you slide your palm over. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty minimal.

What's the best choice if I don't have an ipad? (it's expensive for my country)
@KaijuMathematics127 ай бұрын
Completely understandable. I would use a composition notebook personally. Or just plain printer paper. Thanks for the comment.

Can I ask you about something? I am a person who has a slightly average level in mathematics, and this school season we were not able to study properly due to the strikes. So how can I become great at math in the next 3 months of summer vacation? I really don't know how can I do it (I was in 11th grade) I have a national exam in maths next year.
@KaijuMathematics127 ай бұрын
Amazing question! I’ll answer this question by making a video tonight. Can you just clarify what your last content was? Algebra? College algebra? Etc etc
