I honestly did not know shoe shiners were still around. Just goes to show how young I am at 28😂 But joking aside I just found your channel and watching you shine shoes is teaching me the life lessons I have been seeking of hard work and what the rewards of it look like, how to envision the finished product without getting overwhelmed by the amount of steps it takes to in your case restore one set of shoes probably out of 100s or more you get (I have anxiety issues but this is giving a clue on how to overcome it in manageable detailed steps now) and humble service to others.

That's his home. He is my neighbor, and he works as a shiner but shines his family's shoes for free (obviously). He tried recording his actual clients' shoes as he worked, but many didn't like it, and he got into too many brawls over it. The last time it happened, he hit someone with one of his tools that the person stumbled into a random passersby. They both fell over onto the road (as the sidewalk is where he sets up his little station) where sadly a bus or a semi (can't recall which) ran over their shoes, and they both passed. Yea, I made it all up.
