Good info, Jeremiah! One of my favorite gadgets is the pocket bellows - sometimes campfires need a little nudge.

I got the modle in an outdoor mystery box. I love it, wear it everyday around my wrist as a just-in-case at work. Gifted one to my bros pop in-law, he digs it too 😊

Solid choices here we finally got one of the transfer valves its such a game changer. A Firebiner is a go to for me. Dragonsnare from Hemlock Mountain Outdoors is my choice water bottle holder. I've also used it to hang my pack and to gravity filter.

Gadgets I like to have on the trail: UCO mini candle lantern - great for solo camping when you don't want to take the time for a campfire. Uses an inexpensive readily available tealight candle. PIC outdoor Mosquito coils and the Off Coil carry case. Similar chemicals as the propane or electric bug repellent devices but under $2 for 4 refills. Groundcloth - it's a footmat under the hammock, a place to put your things on as you unpack/pack, a wind breaker for your backpacking chair if it's mostly mesh, a sitpad on a wet trail, a picnic blanket, etc. Spike table - similar to Schwarze Biene, but DIY. Great table next to backpacking chair or hammock. For cooking or your 'campfire juice' cup. Nite-Ize Micro Lantern (Rechargable or battery operated depending on model) Inexpensive and just enough light for the hammock ridgeline or inside a tent. Small enough to back inside your tent or hammock. Fozzils Snapfold bowl - can be used as a cutting board or as a bowl. Better than eating out of a backpacking meal pouch, easy to clean and takes up no room in your pack when flattened. Sea to Summit Airlite Towel (medium): 20x39" under 2oz., under 3"x2" folded - packs small but big enough to dry off with if you take a dip or give yourself a sponge bath. Soaks up a lot of water, great for wiping up condensation. Wring it out and then continue drying. excellent towel

I like the idea of the lanterns, instead of having to spray bug spray on me. One of my friends has a spike table. I don’t know if I like it or not.

@@RC-qf3mp modern ultra light chairs weight next to nothing and the recovery it gives you when you get to camp is well worth it in my opinion, mabey you just don't cover the miles to make that a necessity tho :)
