Big Bang Theory doesn't have a laugh track. It's taped in front of a live audience. So, that's another difference between the two shows.

@@markl2322 There's an episode where Sheldon gets female a visitor and everyone is surprised. As they leave the two alone, they discuss how Sheldon reproduces. Howard says something like "We've been operating under the assumption that Sheldon propagates via mitosis.", and the crowd roars. I'm sorry but the average person has no idea what "mitosis" is and wouldn't know why that's funny. It might have been filmed in front of a live audience but that doesn't mean it doesn't get processed after the filming was finished. Where do you think they get the blooper reels from? They get cut during post-production processing.

It is so predictable that anyone who praises this “character” is missing whole point of the character itself. That this is not anyone you want to be, it is a parity of who not to be. It shows the extremes of a viewpoint and how destructive it can be, much like Ron Swanson’s character.

Also: "HDTV technology was introduced in the United States in the early 1990s and made official in 1993 by the Digital HDTV Grand Alliance." However, KZbin may not have permitted this at that time. In any case, 240p is insulting and the video quality still sucks.
