Never has any piece elicited so many varied emotions in me but Gymnopedies: No. 1. Funniest thing was I first fell in love with it as it was strangely interspersed among my favorite songs on an Rock and Roll album by Blood, Sweat and Tears. I played it endlessly throughout high school when my collection of 8 track albums were finally stolen out of my car. The composer was not on the album so it remained a mystery to me for at least a decade. 55 years later and I still hold those memories deep in my heart. Thank you for sharing it here.

Ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich diese Interpretation von Satie schon angehört habe, seitdem ich diesen Kanal gefunden habe. Mich berührt diese Musik unbeschreiblich. Sentimental und doch beruhigend. Danke fürs Hochladen.

Eric Satie was quite eccentric and I think that his music really highlights this fact. Very different to other French composers of his day.

Muzica ne ajută să "levitam"peste cotidian,cu toate ale lui...MULTE SI VII MULȚUMIRI SCUMPULUI,NEPRETUITULUI prieten din Franța,D.C.,care mi-a amintit de mai multe ori de Erik satie...E indecent, dragul meu prieten,a încerca să-ți multumesç in cuvinte...cum să fii trist,meancolic,etc.,cu așa muzică,?la fel că după citirea unei cărți foarte bune,după,ori mai degrabă în momentele audierii, ești altfel... Plecăciune,Erik, plecăciune PRIETEN DRAG!!!
