Instead of saying this sounds like early Led Zeppelin, it should be said that Led Zep "borrowed" heavily from American blues artists. So if GVF writes original music in the same genre, then they are no less original than Zeppelin. In fact, they are more original, because there are no "unacknowledged" cover tunes here. Zep 1 was mostly covers, with only a couple of original tunes on it, iirc. Some cases were settled. Litigation continues to this day... Who cares now? I'm very happy GVF is writing cool music that I like to listen to!

I am so happy to hear this and wish I could thank them. Funny how the mass release collections pulled and improved on some of these songs, but some of the others are absolutely perfect as is. Down to the River, Standing On, Cloud Train, Written in Gold!!!! Josh's singing, great as it always is, is even more suited to these and I love hearing the lighter, haunting sound of Jake's guitar.

​@@newrisingsun5526 Sorry for the comment. It was a knee jerk reaction to seeing a photo I didn't want spread around the internet (retain some question of myth of the discs existence) . Just out of curiosity, what would you have done? Option A: Leak songs on the internet (while people will be thankful, it's stealing from the band and releasing something they didn't want out there. Side note: if you're in a band you know how shitty this is, successful or not) Option B: Do absolutely nothing with the disc or the songs on it. (disc doesn't mean much to me and is not being appreciated. It would just be in a box in my basement) Option C: Sell for a cheap price on eBay (casual fan stumbles upon it and buys it. Once again, probably not appreciated) Option D: Sell it for a high price on eBay (will only fall into the hands of a super fan. Disc gets appreciated. The current owner has it framed on his wall.) Being a collector myself, I have payed crazy amounts of money on rare records from bands. I didn't feel bad paying that money because it was something that I wanted and would appreciate.

@@NuclearspidermonkeY If I had the CD I definitely would've leaked it on the internet and shared it here on YT for people to enjoy. I've done a similar thing in the past when I acquired an unheard copy of an R&B artist's old album. While I can see not trying to anger the band by leaking old material they probably don't want heard, that doesn't mean much to me in the slightest because it's not like these old demos are just gonna blow up and get massive radio play and internet views or something. To the average listener they only have the double EP and a debut album. IMO $2500 is ridiculous, I can see selling it for like $200-300 dollars, a casual listener isn't gonna be willing to spend even that much on it. Despite this, it's your CD and you can do what you want with it.
