P.Frank Zepplin? Yes. But I also here early Rod Stewart, heart, early rush, and so many other 60s and 70s influences. I think people automatically think of Led Zeppelin because of the singer. Secondly the guitarist. In general I feel this band Captures the 60s and 70s vibe which is much needed in this day and age. Not to mention it’s refreshing to be able to listen to this style of music without having to listen to the same albums I’ve heard 1 million times over the years. LOL!

@@Crack_the_Skye I mean the ones that sound like they're inspired by older bands but are also adding new flair and sound, not just borrowing so hard from a well worn playbook. I just have to laugh at comments that make it seem like guitar music was dead, or that "real music" was dead since the 70s. i think it's b/c people are triggered by synths, drum machines and rappers. Fuck it, i like it all, as long as it's honest and trying to push forward, stylistically.

Robert Plant said that " there is this band from Detrot" actually they are not from Detroit but anyways my point is that the god of rock and roll and lead singer and the band of all bands said that GVF sounds like them means a lot! Let me clarify no band can compare to Led Zeppelin but getting the blessing from Robert plant! That is an honor. GvF has a long way to go but they are on the right path to greatness

The only reason people say they are a rip-off of LZ is because Josh has the same tone and range as Robert Plant, and their music is largely blues based, which Zeppelin's music was based from as well. Same influences in music mean similar sounds are bound to happen. And of course, there's the issue of having the bass player (Sam) move to play keyboards on certain songs, just like John Paul Jones used to do. Put it all together, and people make that comparison.

Went out and learned many musical Instruments and practice long and hard. Don’t compare them to no one but themselves . Of course they had many influences they learned from and put their own twist into their performance. They have grown so much from the beginning, more comfortable and having fun . We need more rock bands like these guys, RockOn 🎸

From a guy whose favorite top 4 bands are Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, and Iron Maiden...... these guys are the real deal. In time they will refine their sound to be a little more "their own" and a little more distinctive. Even Rush started out wanting to be like the mighty Led Zeppelin. They too, found their own voices and became legends. Give these young men time. it'll happen. They're totally on the right path.

A true band full of actual musicians. Bass player plays different guitars, piano, keyboards. Drummer plays guitar as well. And original songs. Not songs written by "ghost" writers but everyone thinks the singer/ band wrote it. And according to the singer, one of his favorite singers growing up was John Denver. Wide range of music taste. Their earlier days, the singer sang in his natural range. Beautiful sound.

And you get my point, I also like GVF but I'm objective, it's obvious that led zeppelin was their influence but they're taking that influence in a level that looks like mimicking...musically y they are far away from Led Zepp, I'm not even coparing them I'm just saying that GVF can find his own sound without copying styles because they are freaking talented. I'm not a hater it's criticism. I invite you to listen all 9 led Zepp studio albums and find the similarities in the voice signature, changes of notes and pitch, the guitar with that blues, raw sound... It's obvious that they are paying tribute to led Zepp maybe on purpose or maybe it's unconscious...

These guys are authentic and skilled musicians that can put on a hard rock show with showman qualities.
