P.Frank Zepplin? Yes. But I also here early Rod Stewart, heart, early rush, and so many other 60s and 70s influences. I think people automatically think of Led Zeppelin because of the singer. Secondly the guitarist. In general I feel this band Captures the 60s and 70s vibe which is much needed in this day and age. Not to mention it’s refreshing to be able to listen to this style of music without having to listen to the same albums I’ve heard 1 million times over the years. LOL!

The only reason people say they are a rip-off of LZ is because Josh has the same tone and range as Robert Plant, and their music is largely blues based, which Zeppelin's music was based from as well. Same influences in music mean similar sounds are bound to happen. And of course, there's the issue of having the bass player (Sam) move to play keyboards on certain songs, just like John Paul Jones used to do. Put it all together, and people make that comparison.

Anyone who gave this a thumbs down is as ignorant as they come. This is the awakening of a new era, hope for the music world....we're so tired of pop, hip hop and rap this is new life to a dying world! There are not enough words in the English language to give these young men the accolades the truly deserve. The are brave and driven...waking up a world that had died long ago. Praise God for GVF!!!

I don't agree, I mean...they're VERY talented but they're trying sooo sooo hard to be like Led Zeppelin, not just because the voice signature but also the show, the clothing, the instruments, they're mimickig Led Zepp... and as rock fans we have to be critics but also recognize the talent
@evanpeltier5 жыл бұрын
@@rodriolfo They aren't trying to be anybody but themselves. They all grew up together on blues and rock music. Josh's dad played harmonica in a blues band in their hometown in Michigan. If Josh's voice sounded different, I bet your opinion would be very different. I don't compare them, or put them on some kind of Zeppelin pedestal. I love both LZ and GVF and I appreciate their music.

@@rodriolfo Furthermore, their instruments are NOTHING like Led Zeppelin. Page played a telecaster. Jake plays a Les Paul. Sam's Fender bass is nothing like John Paul Jones'. Plus Jimmy Page can't play guitar behind his back like Jakey can. Haha!!!

@@evanpeltier I'm talking about sound, watch the movie the song remains the same... And you get my point, I also like GVF but I'm objective, it's obvious that led zeppelin was their influence but they're taking that influence in a level that looks like mimicking...musically y they are far away from Led Zepp, I'm not even coparing them I'm just saying that GVF can find his own sound without copying styles because they are freaking talented. I'm not a hater it's criticism. I invite you to listen all 9 led Zepp studio albums and find the similarities in the voice signature, changes of notes and pitch, the guitar with that blues, raw sound... It's obvious that they are paying tribute to led Zepp maybe on purpose or maybe it's unconscious...

Besides the phenomenal playing and singing, the guitar playing on the back was bonkers. I was like, "That's fucking it!" They are special. These guys are authentic and skilled musicians that can put on a hard rock show with showman qualities. We might reference this music to musical eras of the past, but I say that the industry moves forward too quickly. People do grow up and move on, but there's a reason why people always go back. We still need and want musicians like this.
