I always felt that the objections on the celebrities et al participation in the Qatari World Cup was because it’s an easy target: this holier than thou criticism here for instance. Let me ask: why don’t you take on the big elephant in the room? Boycott Qatari energy supplies, prevent BAE and any other British companies from doing business there, ban their airlines as well as travel there. I did not see any such efforts by the morning show host or Hislop. Instead targeting Neville, Beckham, Robbie Williams et al. Have some courage of your convictions and go after what really may have an affect: the entire British relationship with Qatar.

Love the show but a bit harsh on nevile he didn't award them the world cup and it was itv who paid him to go he's a football man he'd go to the world cup no matter where it is just cause you go to a country (to do a job ) does not mean you agree or support the government that runs that country the world cup is finished and all the football pundits are gone never to be seen there again but politicians, business leaders and other types of performers who could perform anywhere chose to be there unlike football fans who just wanted to watch the biggest football tournament in the world
