Yes and J hair care products! The popular brands outside of Japan and inside Japan. There’s this one hair mask I used to use from a brand called Honeycè and apparently it’s only sold online in Japan now 😢 so I’ll have to order it on Amazon next time I’m over there.

Laura's amazing. Anyone who can move to another country, remain above ground and eventually bloom and spread the love is a beautiful, inspirational person. I could listen to her talk me through stuff in Japanese health and beauty sections for hours! I would literally not feel even a minute of boredom, she's just brilliant.

I could watch her talk me through Japanese drugstores for hours, literally, and remain excited and inspired the whole time. She describes things so well! I walk past so many great things every time I'm in Japan, not knowing what I'm really looking at and also being overwhelmed by the sheer variety of options. I'm just cross that Fancl discontinued their gel cleanser in the tube. It was THE BEST. Argh, don't you hate when that happens?

Thank you so much, Soo and Lara!! I have been living in Japan for more than 2 years but navigating through the skin care situation is not that easy! That's why I really appreciate these kinds of content. I think J-beauty has been killing it but we lack the information needed! Naturie's Hatomugi toner is my holy grail and my skin just drinks it up! And I did not know that there were different kids of eyebags omg this was so informative.

12:32 I got both the balm and the face milk that came out recently, and I’m obsessed. Specially the face milk, If you’re going thru retinization o have dry sensitized skin that is an outstanding product.

JBeauty hits different. My skin really loves Japanese skincare. I love the minimalist, no-nonsense approach. Great for sensitive skin and anti-inflammaging in general. Another thing i love with Jbeauty is that they reformulate products for the better, regularly.

Fancl mco has been my hg for like 15 yrs! Although it is thick, it washes off clean and dont need to follow up w a foaming cleanser if u dont want to. It should def get more love.

I bought the SANA eyecream with the retinol you were talking about but I was getting milia from it so I stopped using it. I just have really sensitive under eyes because I haven't found an eyecream that hasn't given me milia.
