Wow, good compilation. I witnessed the birth of Kagrra back in the early 2000s and was immediately hooked on to Isshi's ethereal vocals and diva-like stage mannerisms. This band really brought something exceptionally unique to the landscape of Jrock and we were all able to see/hear it back then. As a non-Japanese, I guess I was lucky enough to make it to a Kagrra's concert/GIG in Japan in the summer of 2004, only to have Isshi-san throwing me surprised glances and big smiles throughout his performance (Haha, I guess you don't see many African-European gaijins in VK concerts everyday, lol!) I sort of moved away from VK/Jrock as I entered adulthood and didn't really realise Kagrra had disbanded and that Isshi had passed away (WTF?). However, I just started to listen to my CDs recently. I still absolutely love the delicate intensity of their songs. "Yume Izuru chi", "Kotodama", and the unforgettable "Haru Urara" are classics... I even surprised myself by remembering the lyrics! Thanks for the great upload! :)

I remember discovering this band on last.fm. And just now I bumped into last.fm and started thinking back what was that awesome band I discovered there. I'm glad I was able to retrieve the memory. I think I'll have a Kagrra weekend now.

한국사람이지만 카그라의 음악은 정말 좋았다. 보컬의 음색에 반해서 들은 카그라의 음악들은 너무나도 감미로웠다. 멜로디나 보컬이나.너무나도 좋은 조합..

When I listen to Kagrra now, my whole body feels weighed down with sadness. I remember saving up for Kagrra CDs and posters and magazines that had them on the cover. Isshi's voice is forever beautiful. Thank you for making this collection of their songs!

Thanks for sharing! Kagrra is simply one of the most awesome VK band I've ever found over the years and still remains as one of my favorites. A part of me died when they disbanded and when Isshi passed over. Not having seen them perform live will always a deep regret!

Thank you so much for posting this up! I heard about Kagrra years ago, but didn't really dive into them much back then. Now that i'm back into VK/J-Rock, i guess i'm already too late.. I'll never get to see them live and hear Isshi-san's comforting voice again. :'( However I think we're lucky they release Live Dvds, so we just have to work with that then :)

Thanks again Yuuka. That last name is cool since its the same as Isshi. I also love the one where he sings and plays guitar, but the one after where he plays drums, I can't find it anywhere. I didn't find out about Kagrra, until a year ago in July but I was addicted on the first night. I wish he could come back for one more concert for me!
@kirakirayuuka11 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for replying. =) I got myself this Japanese name because I wanna remember Isshi forever. Oh yeah the part where he plays the drums is really unique! Isshi is such a talented man! How I hope that he can continue to make more beautiful music for us. (T_T) Btw I'm glad that u discover Kagrra,! And I really appreciate your Kagrra, uploads. =)

yeah I feel the same too! It's just sad that most people are more into the mainstream pop, in which I don't find that as appealing as Jrock and traditional Japanese music once u listened to Kagrra,. They are certainly the best Jrock band and the one I love the most!! Oh great, I'll look forward to ur uploads! Shigatsu Tsuitachi don't have a pv yeah. Wonder what video that you've got. i love this :D i miss isshi so much. i still cry when i listen to their music. is there any chance you could send me all the stuff you have for kagrra? the hard drive that i had all my videos & stuff on crashed last year. :/ every download link i try to get kagrra's music & videos from ends up dead. if you don't want to, i understand. it's time consuming & you don't know me or owe me anything. if you could point me in the right direction, i'd appreciate it very much. :) sorry for being so blunt & just asking for something.. :/ i do feel bad about it, but... my love for kagrra outweighs my manners. lol hope you'll understand. :) and thanks for reading. :)

of course :) one way is to go to miyako kagrra fan TR's website and get stuff from there, or you can use keepvid and download my vids. I don't know how to send to you (don't know if email can send all that lol) hopefully you get everything you need
