The scene with the Ice Pick killer, Raylan, and Winona is so well acted. I especially love how Natalie Zea plays Winona here, balancing fear, anxiousness, and courage. She doesn't know how this will end but she's trying to buy time, worried about Raylan, worried about herself, and stuck in that little hotel room that they were making a home. Also Winona looks gorgeous as always.

I have read everything that Elmore Leonard wrote. In my opinion he was the best true crime writer ever. His ability to create credible conversations was phenomenal. Many of his novels were converted to movies . He deserves a lot more attention than he got. I’m hopeful that his son continues his work. Pete I believe is his son and has some really large shoes to fill.

I love Elmore Leonard and this show! You might want to read the Spencer books by Robert Parker, just as good! It was turned into a TV show called Spencer For Hire, starring Robert Urich and Avery Brooks! Ace Atkins has continued the series of books after Parker passed away!

Am I the only one who notices how many shooting locations that Justified and Sons of Anarchy share? The red house that Wade Messer lives in is the same that Sons blew up for being a meth den. Also the Sons cabin that they use as a safehouse is the same where Boyd's father is killed at end of season 1 of Justified. There are more if you pay attention.

Bit of a blooper there... Layla(sp?) shoots her bf, as he stands up, and turns around, from the tub that he just dropped Raylan into, after the bf had injected Raylan with whatever. As the bf is picking up Raylan to drag him into the bathroom, and the tub, the bf puts Raylan's gun in the waistband of his pants, in the back. Right as Layla(sp?) comes into the bathroom, her hands behind her back, we see the bf leaning way over Raylan, BUT, Raylan's gun is nowhere in sight.

All of these scenes are the best of Raylan for sure but why did you include the one with the bartender? She's the least important part of any episode and she was a gross thief that Raylan would have never paid attention to if Winona hadn't broken his heart and he was down in the dumps. Her voice is awful too.
