A lot of people are saying how they hated this Stella, but a lot of people don’t realize is that this ISNT the REAL Stella. This is the mask she put on to show that she’s ok and strong when in reality she’s broken inside. She herself said she never wanted to be that person but had no choice because of Luna (her mother). She finally opened up and threw away that mask in the final 2 episodes where she realized she had to make choices on her own without her mother controlling her.

Hopefully she’ll have some character development later on..... 😄😄 And this version is a bit more realistic and relatable even because of her serious mother issues and they actually kinda/sorta show how the pressure of being a perfect princess with an overbearing, controlling, high stakes/standards and perfectionist mother affects the character and shows in her character; and how she deals with it. It’s a really new and interesting take on the character. Hopefully she’ll become nicer and sweeter in season 2 just like her original cartoon counterpart. Even because of her friends influence and friendship rubbing off on her.

honestly i think the idea of bloom and stella starting off with a more complex relationship is better than immediately clicking and being friends and staying that way, barely going through anything. there’s no such thing as a perfect friendship. this version of their friendship is more realistic. although i can see why you prefer their friendship in the cartoon. it’s more familiar etc. but stella does take bloom’s side when she wants to break out beatrix. and she helps bloom with her powers. in her own way she cares about bloom.

Stella may be sarcastic in the animated series, but it was to a line where she said them with a level of ignorance. As soon as she stops and notices she already hurt someone, she apologizes and make amends. Here in Fate, Stella's sarcasm is way too intentional that she's almost mistaken as an antagonist turned ally, but an ally so temporary she'd be ready to ditch anybody as soon as she sees them disposable.

I don't think she wouldn't ditch them easily, remember when she was taken home by her Mother she said "Can I at least say goodbye to my friends?" and one moment at the Tunnel when Terra, Musa and Bloom looking for Rosalind, Stella asked Terra her if she's okay then made fun (In a friendly way) Terra's outfit. And also when she opened up with Musa? Anyway, let's wait for season 2 and see her character's progress.

Oh goooosh I love Stella!~ I also can relate why some people don't like how she is in this series but I can't help myself. I like all of the characters. I know it's a drastic change but the mood in these series are fitting much more to the reality. It's easier to relate the characters and their motivations behind their actions. They have flaws in their character! And that's what I like the Winx Saga! But... to be honest they didn't chose the “right light“ for the trailer and that's a bit shame...
