+B i don’t think she’s “blind” per se. Garcelle and Sutton are both impeccably smart. However, firstly, Garcelle is loyal- she’s known Denise a long time. And second, she’s aware that whatever relationships or sexual activities she may or may not have are none of their business and shouldn’t be discussed on camera. Like Sutton said, she heard a rumour that Denise and Brandi slept together but knew it wasn’t her place to bring it up nor discuss it, and especially not at the dinner table. I noticed that Garcelle had an opinion but chose not to say it because she knew her place, like Sutton. There were cheating rumours about Mauricio - Kyle told everyone to shut up and they did. Lisa R smashed a wine glass when Kim even mentioned Harry. Yet they’ll happily milk Denise’s business? F*ck off

Garcelle isn’t really integrating into the group and it’s probably because she’s so booked and busy. Denise had the same vibe last year. Sutton is a good fit for the cast, but she needs to speak up more. She was very clearly on Denise’s side at the BBQ and kept quiet.

Well, have you read the book? I recommend reading it. Not as a good read, but as a sleeping agent. It was such a superficial, shallow, dull book - and very self indulgent, in that, she focuses mainly on this high school play - how she was jipped because she didn’t get the lead role; but how amazing she was anyway. I mean, it was odd. And we learn so little about her issues with her mother, yet she doesn’t hesitate to criticize her at every turn. And her husband; we learn nothing about this “love affair”. And last, but not least, she doesn’t address why she left her son to be raised by the mother she has such disdain for, accept by saying it was her turn to follow her dream. Sorry not when you have a child. The child becomes the new dream. I think she wishes she could be the Erika we thought she would be, but she doesn’t do enough self reflection to warrant the wisdom she pretends to have. She also takes some very benign comments by the other wives, strangely, personally, on the show. She seems quite insecure, which is fine, but don’t write a book and assume the audience won’t be savvy enough to catch this blatantly avoidant approach. There were supporting characters; even to someone as “fabulous” as Erika.
