I was with my father when he died at age 93 in a nursing home. I was holding his hand and he said to me "I want to go home" and I knew which home he meant. In that moment, his face turned "gold" and it only lasted a few seconds. I had heard about the death mask from nurses and I knew what they meant after having seen it. The colour to his face returned and he was gone. It was a very peaceful death and I am forever greatful that I was there with him. I loved him very, very much and his last gift to me was to allow me to be there at the end of his life.

People talk about how awesome it is to be there when someone is born and that is true. Myself, however I think it is just as great an honor to be there when they pass from this world 💕

My grandad saw his mother, who I had met, because she didn’t pass until well into her 90’s. It certainly brings great comfort. I knew he wasn’t alone, and I knew that he’d be out of pain. I miss him terribly, as he was my most favourite person ever. ❤

My mom died two weeks ago. Three days before she died at our home, she told my aunt that she was transitioning to the other side. That same day, she had made subtle remarks to me, and I assumed she was hinting that she was dying.

A week before my papa died, he was with us celebrating my sisters birthday , drinking and eating .. as we were wrapping up, it was quite late at night already, he was quite drunk, he just uttered ..”who wants to go in a joy ride? I just wanna breathe some fresh air?”😢

I’m a caregiver and I’ve seen many of my residence passed away. I’ve also seen them talk to spirits good and bad before they die. It is true I’ve seen my residence. Wait until Luv ones come to say goodbye then they leave.

Yes been awakened in the night and escorted them on there walk halfway. It’s just a different journey. My husband has been bedridden for the last 10 years. And for the last 10 years he has been traveling and he still has not reached his destination. He would talk about all his ancestors and to them. Talk about cemetery and the priest etc. It's strange but as I said he is still traveling.

I think there’s another motivation for death when loved ones are out of the room or asleep. I wonder if the dying person doesn’t want to leave their loved ones rather than being concerned about sparing the loved one’s feelings.
@Daisypetal1004 ай бұрын
That one guy said his heart had stopped for a long time. You can get brain damage if your heart stops for 3 minutes. You're not getting oxygen to your brain. 4 minutes of no beating heart leads to rigor mortis. That's permanent death.
