If the intro narration is correct its because ouch did so well. If ouch was eliminated earlier tweek wouldve been at risk bc no one he won against was in the bracket anymore. Kind of a weird system if the winner can be the one who gets to play the least
@Jelliott_ssb11 күн бұрын
@The format functions like a normal bracket if no upsets happen, upsets drastically change everything however. Ouch winning 5 times in a row was highly unexpected ending in; Zomba getting 3rd with one win one loss, Ouch getting 2nd with 5 wins two losses, and Tweek getting 1st with two wins no losses on Ouch
@raven-a11 күн бұрын
This format is actually a bit... silly 😂🎉
@raven-a11 күн бұрын
@@MonoFlaxYeah, but if you believe that a lot of matchups are like rock, paper, scissors, you can have a rock player getting lucky only playing a scissors that defeated all the papers. Ofc Tweek is a great player and probably would have defeated all of them, but still it's super stupid to win a tournament defeating only one player

As I said In the previous video that Ouch Run was insane!! defeating Syrup the Second Best Steve In the World, Light the Best Fox, Mr E the Best Lucina and Zomba the Best ROB. That's the reason wich he Is called the Best Wolf In the World, Well deserved that Second place Ouch!! But I think he deserve more that first place instead of Tweek, I didn't like that weird format if you ask me, maybe this is the reason wich many players are trolling like glutonny and Light at this tourney. Anyway, Thanks for this video Man!!

I think this format could work but as like a phase 1 to set up for a double elimination bracket. Like two reaper brackets and the last 2 remaining are sent to winners side automatically while the rest go to a gauntlet phase or something. Might be an interesting way to switch up the standard round robin format we normally have for invitationals.

@joseval9812 күн бұрын
I actually like this format, its pretty nice to see something new but it could definitely use some uprgrades like i know you get rewarded for winning against the best player but tweek winning the whole tournament with only 2 matches against ouch its kinda unfair lol overall looks cool hope to see more of it, congrats to tweek and props to ouch he olay out of his mind 🔥

When you have only 8 players in your tournament, it's the perfect opportunity to do round-robins. This format would take too long with 16 players, but it would have been perfect for this invitational

Ouch is reminding us the only reason he wasn’t ranked in the top 50 for Lumi Rank is because he doesn’t attend many tournaments. He was out here looking like CharlieDaKing with those footstool into up special confirms.

guys does someone know why gluto was playing link in this tournament ? Like he was trolling or just trying something new ?
@Shade-Spark11 күн бұрын
He had a rough year last year, both pro-controller not working and bad mindset relating to Steve, from his words. He got out of this phase by taking the Steve matchup more seriously eventually, and just for fun he experimented a Link because he likes playing link. He won a tournament in france with solo-link and at the time he said he didn't intend to play him in majors, but I guess this was different and a good opportunity to learn against top players. That was december lore tho, I'mnot on twitter or anything, just his videos.
