The Mark 23 was a famous german design made for US special forces in 1991. It's known for that huge cool-looking laser attachment that wasn't really ever used, and for it's appearances in both Splinter Cell and -more notably-, Metal Gear Solid.

Yes. I remember it in Metal Gear Solid more prominently because of all the in-game cut scenes. I love Splinter Cell just as much but I don't remember his hand gun as much as his iconic goggles. Sam Fisher had more gadgets that stuck out to me with his SC-20k and its attachments, like the sticky shocker, distraction cam, non lethal ring, knockout gas, etc.

This was designed for the USSOCOM for all special forces use. It is similar to the USP, similar as in the same family if handguns. This was specifically designed for the special forces though.

Good run will , it's pretty challenging to get through a base with just a pistol and you did well, the first base you did, the big building with the orange stripe I discovered has a walkway to the roof in the back of the building, I find if I get up there and take out targets from there and stay hidden and choose my targets carefully I can take out all the sentinals in the base. Keep up all the amazing work, and will you be returning to the titan island to see if you can get any new weapons to review?

Can someone explain to me how the handgun auto-aim ability works in the Echelon Class? I see the button prompt pop up sometimes, but it’s not like it snaps to the enemy when I press it. So what the heck is it good for? I also play with auto-aim turned OFF in the settings.

In my experience you need to stop moving once you press it, because it doesn't stick. But if you're sitting perfectly still and shoot _immediately,_ you won't miss. So it really does need good reflexes to work. Alternatively, it might need auto-aim to be on to work

Interesting fact: This, in game, HK Mk 23 is a combination of the Real Life Phase I and Phase III variants of the firearm, from the 1989 USSOCOM Offensive Handgun Weapon System (OHWS) project. It has the Knight's Armaments Company suppressor, from Phase III, but HK's own Laser Aiming Module, from Phase I. If you Google Mk 23 Mod 0, you'll see the differences in the Real Life sidearm and the in game variant. Oh and the louder "doosh", you're hearing, when un-suppressed is from the .45 ACP +P (Overpressure) ammunition. P.s. keep 'em coming Willy!

The mk23 is the old military gun,the usp tactical replaced this. The mk23 was tested very hard and long,you look it up if you want. I had one I airsoft,the others don't her you,it was so quiet.

Why do you believe the game should permit you to do whatever the hell you want? A Behemoth with a pistol, yeah. As for how you play the game, at some point one would think you'd begin to understand this IS NOT an arcade where you just shoot the balloons. Ghost, meaning unseen and Recon meaning acquiring knowledge, is about being "slow, which is smooth, which is fast." You're right about one thing, your gameplay is like a comedy, today, you're a clown. Love you bro, luv what you do making such quality content, but you're still a child. I don't understand why you're so upset with the game. YOU chose to play in reality mode, leveled the chances, made it hardest possible. They now can also kill you with a single bullet so running through base and checking where enemies are by taking shots from them and attracting all af them to you at once isn't exactly tactical approach. Would any normal soldier survive a day at work this way? Yet I must admit, this is what makes your videos my choice above other Breakpoint walkthroughs. You 'keep juices flowing'. Perhaps just more yoga or something? ;)
