Would it have killed Phylida to put the date window at 6oC? They did it for their sister brand Matic (which I bought, and which I consider the better homage).

I just noticed this morning that the newer Phylida seamasters now have the date window at 6 o'clock rather than 3 o'clock!

Have looked at several videos on Phylida watches and do believe the "fake" Omega that I have is actually a Phylida,though the dial is marked Omega.....two things stand out on my watch: 1)The hour hand on mine has the same round pip as your Phylida, and 2) The waves on the dial are just like the waves on the older Omega(miniscule and filling the entire dial). Having read about seconds hand "stutter" typical on Myota movements makes me think that that is the movement in my watch. Very good video. I personally think that Phylida is a sleeper watch company producing great homage watches. I do believe that a milanese band would look great on the seamaster homage.

I doubt it. I think you have a cheaper 2813 movement inside and it won’t be waterproof. The cheaper reps of these have the rounded pip (apart from Phylida, which you can’t get with omega branding)

good comparison. the sister company of philyda called matic offer a better watch and branding with a pt5000 movement with better lume, finishing etc at slightly higher cost but a lot of watch for the money 👍

Nice work with the comparison, of course there's no real contest but taking the omega off the table, the phylida is pretty decent. I think the movement is likely the 8215 for the price point.
