Great video! I loved seeing each shade on the eyes, it made a huge difference! I’m not sure if you’ve tried yet, but I personally love the Laura Mercier caviar stick eyeshadows- they never crease and are so easy to swipe on. There are quite a few in the collection that make great one and done shades, but I think you would like amethyst and maybe moonlight!

Thanks for recommending MAC Amorous Alloy. I use it over every eyeshadow look I do. It blends and refines the look. While it looks coppery in the pan it becomes the perfect bronze on my fair skin with blue green eyes. Works under the eyes as well. I'm buying a dozen.

I'm really loving the Super Shock formula this summer. I layer them over my eyeshadow primer, and they wear so beautifully. I don't like a really heavy or full eye look when it's so ungodly hot and humid and these are perfect. Rooftop Cocktails is my favorite, but I'm going to need A Little Quarky.

I have gone through multiple pans of Mac ‘all that glitters’ and love Mac paint pot in ‘groundwork’ when I want something on my eyes but without shimmer. Loved this! I’ve gotten so many great ideas from you, like Amber Rush. I just got the stila shimmer & glow liquid eyeshadow in grace and am loving it-it’s that Kosas globe-ish taupe-y champagne-y shade that looks so pretty on you. A similar shade in a different formula I’ve also been enjoying is revlon colorstay in caramel. If you haven’t tried it, it’s kind of like maybelline colour tatoo but a lot creamier/less stiff. I’ve also been living in the new chantecaille eye/cheek shade in Ray (the one in fluorescent packaging) but it’s hard to recommend bc of the price. Would LOVE a video on blushes/bronzers that make good one and done shadows! 💕💕❤️

I also really like the Ash & Ember Eye Soot in Cultist from Rituel de Fille, but their weird little pots definitely cause some application issues for folks with nails. Kait, all of the ones you chose suit you beautifully! I’ve been holding onto a big collection from the 90s and early 2000s from which my favorites are. New Moon is included and is being worn today on top of the blush I applied first to my eyes. I also use it as a bit of highlight in areas. The collection of Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill in the little jars like LOREAL Amber rush, I love them so much! They are all numbered with some having names like the beetle collection. Chanel illusion D’Ombre in Epatant is another fave. It’s not green, blue, gray or silver or champagne.. is just gorgeous. Tom Ford’s cream shadows aren’t really available anymore either but I would have totally sent a spice, beach, Sphinx, midnight violet, platinum and opale as well burnished copper your way!! In recent times, using what I already have is important to me. I CAN recommend julep eyeshadow sticks. Every color works easily basically without touching it hardly at all and you’re done, looking professional. Super easy and they go on extreme sales so you can literally scoop them all up. Ginger, matte, Caramel matte, Pearl, Golden something, copper, rose, khaki and amethyst smoke are super gorgeous! Well, whichever I pick up and use, I love. Highly recommend. Good ingredients. Good to eyes. Stayed until washed. Effortless. I hope you take a look! 🪴

Great video Kait! Would definitely love to see a video on blush and or bronzer. I mix both starting with the bronzer in my crease then add blush, using the shade I’m wearing, on my lid or outer brow bone which gives a great cohesive look. Mob Beauty has a bronzer that has a reddish undertone which I’ve never seen before and it’s very flattering on anyone with fair skin.

Chantecaille starfish mermaid colour is absolutely stunning! Like woodwinked it looks like two different colours. I also really like multiple of the Kaja beauty bento boxes to use as a one and done, so shimmery! And the classic Lancôme Erika F mono eyeshadow, it’s now numbered 203 iridescent, a beautiful /green/taupe colour

Love one and done shadows! Agree that CT EtM shadows are amazing. I have Bette and Chocolate Bronze and based on your recommendation bought Pillow Talk shade as well. These are my most used cream shadows. When you tried on the Rimmel shadow, the color reminded me of Smashbox’s Always on cream shadow in Sepia. It comes in a squeeze tube but very easy to get a small amount and once it’s set, it’s set like the Rare Beauty shadows. They have other colors that I think you’d be into like Guava and Sienna. Sorry to hear your channel is having a slump, I enjoyed your vlogs and clothing videos, so please don’t stop doing those. You, HLP and Amanda Z are the only ones I watch for makeup reviews. Please don’t get discouraged! Stay true to who you are. 🌸✨🌈

YES! Love this video! And it inspired me to dig some of these out of the back of my drawer because I had not used them in a while. I totally agree on the Danessa Myricks - LOVE the formula, but would love additional color options in bronze/taupe shades.

I try really hard to maintain a minimal collection as a KZbinr so that my products actually get used. All the rest that doesn’t earn a spot goes to a subscriber or an influencer friend! It’s a good system

Great video and recommendations! I also love the Phytosurgence shadow in Deeply Rooted. Have you tried that one yet? Talk about dimension and versatility! One of my all-time faves, which is surprising bc it isn’t a shade I would typically gravitate towards.

No I haven’t! Their shadows are generally too cool toned or dark for me so I usually just buy their base products. But that shade does look lovely!

@@StateofKait the nice thing about Deeply Rooted is you can wear it fairly sheer or build it up. It actually pulls a warmer-toned reddish-taupe on me when I apply with my finger. I have been surprised that it doesn't look too dark on me to wear it during the day, and my skin tone is similar to yours.
