So it turns out some of the most UNEXPECTED operators in Rainbow 6 Siege are actually some of the BEST operators in Rainbow 6 siege. Enough of playing Azami, Iana, Ace, Smoke, and Mute, and time for the highest win delta operators in the most recent season. While they may have the highest win deltas in the game, they're actually not played very much in the top ranks. Today we dive into why that may be while testing out these "best" operators.

@@demondude665 Nah, I'd say pre-Skorpion nerf Ela was. In fact I think the statistics actually back that up - she had the highest WR AND play rate in the game, period, ever. BB was terrifying, but still could get bodied by shotguns even at decent range (remember they still did extreme headshot damage back then), explosives and couldn't work on some sites. Ela was literally a destroyer of worlds where it was functionally impossible to ever beat her in a gunfight, ever, at any range (even close range shotguns) unless you one-tapped her with a headshot (and she probably still traded with you) AND she had a devastating gadget AND was a 3 Speed AND worked on every site on every map.

In some cases, like Blackbeard being the highest on console, it's likely that the reason it's so high is because the pickrate is so small; if 100 people total pick blackbeard and 60 of them end up winning (via luck, bad enemies, already up 3-0, etc), the win delta is insanely high because it's such a small sample size. I laughed when I saw the win delta charts, though, wondering if Ubisoft's devs will take this completely out of context and nerf Blackbeard again

However, even with the small pickrate, those graphs account for EVERYONE from Emerald and up. I was also thinking this at first, but I think it could be that he's so rarely picked that he actually has a big impact when he is. Or that people just aren't expecting that bb shield to come peering around the corner. Really breaks the "swing everything" meta. Kind of wild still in my brain.

Up to plat or maybe even emerald, Kapkan is easily one of the strongest defenders. He has a decent gun and people fall for the traps way more often than you'd expect, especially when there's less than a minute left.

Fuze do be kinda slept on. With all the utility defenders have these days, it's nice to have an op that can just make all that stuff disappear. Seeing them points rack up on the side of the screen is pretty nice too lol

My account is lvl 250 with a 1.4 lifetime KD and my highest KD with any attackers are Glaz and Blackbeard with 2.01 and 1.93 respectively. They just allow you to win more gunfights that aren't really fair when all you can do is straight up take fights because no one opened any hatches or walls and you are just walking in.

One thing you forgot to mention with Blackbeard is that he comes with emp impacts which are a huge deal sometimes tbh, I think Blackbeard isn’t too bad though as his ability is (or can be) a key difference in winning and losing a gunfight I’d give him bottom C. As per rook I think he’s just a simple flex pick.

Fuze has always been good especially when you go above the objective. If your lucky and have a wood floor you can place fuzes thing on it and drop grenades on the enemy.

The reason Blackbeard is the highest win delta is because at the higher ranks people really only hit the head, at least they intend to, so Blackbeard basically has multiple lives because in fights u lose, your shield blocks and allows you to win

I played this game on Xbox One and years later on PS4, during the early stages of its release. I have only played with the original operators and had a little experience with the year 1 operators. It has been many years since playing and I'm thinking about trying it out again but on PC this time around. After watching some of your videos I still think Sledge and Frost will be my favourite operators, I might play Rook more often too.

I like what they gave rook have a chance to revive by ownself , but it does definitely need a limit condition , which like when operator having rook amour , it would be deduced one speed and back to default after withstanded back / revived by teamate , tbo rook armor are providing a lot of advantage to defender so far.

BB makes some sense, as Siege is all about headshots, swinging and TDM right now and at high levels of play the ability to "No U" someone trying to swing you or win a gunfight with you - even for a single bullet - can be a massive boon. Add in Flashes and EMPs and he CAN be versatile, it's just that even in high ranks pulling off that "No U" consistently is hella hard AND the amount of utility he has to wade through is hella annoying and makes him weaker. Fuze isn't surprising either; has basically the best weapon in the game and on quite a few maps has the ability to just delete the Defender's entire site/utility set-up on his own from safety if he positions correctly. The problem is getting him into position and people knowing that he likes to do this so he falls victim to roamers and the super aggressive TDM meta very often. Also he is weakened by the fact that there is no Hostage in Ranked to empower him.

The reason bb is number 1 on console is becuase console players rely on crosshair placment to hit thier first shot so they dont have to aim but if ur running bb then they have to actually aim at thier opponent which is indeed impossible for conttroller players.

This is likely because what pox said of it being everyone, since even with a lot more people being in the high ranks the majority of players are still in the lower ranks. And if you look at these operators they are all very oppressive in the lower ranks since you can easily counter them with gamesense which most people have only in plat and above. Except fuse, I really don’t understand how he’s so high…
