This pristine alpine lake is located in the Eastern Sierra Mountains. Although The four wheel drive trail is under five miles there are plenty of rocks and we had four wheel drive engaged. Thanks for another great video Jonny. I still watch all of your videos. I sold my ARE high rise for my 6ft bed Tacoma because it was too small for me and family. I have a wife and an 11yr old son and we could never use it because we could not fit. I took about a 50% loss on it. I am now working towards getting a Super Pacific X1. It should be enough room for a family of 3. 2 could sleep up top and 1 on the bottom of my 6ft bed. They are awesome campers. We went to Oregon this summer to see them at their factory.

Love that lake, such a beautiful spot in the eastern Sierras (I have only seen it from the ridgeline above it to the north). Have yet to get out there and see it myself, hopefully in 2024 I make it out there.....great video.

Unfortunately the place has become infested with the social media crowd and is just not as enjoyable for me these days. About ten years ago I made to the lakes in my 5th gen TE 4runner, stock and in 2wd.

Nice. I made it as far as the first meadow and first scree switchback. Talked to a couple of guys and they said there was a huge snow bank (July) covering the trail and their other truck was stuck and they had been digging out for two days.
