I think this is exactly whats the difference between high rank players and lower rank players. Thinking fast and making a good decision about your position immediately. When explained like this it makes a lot of sense, but reacting fast in the middle of the heat is hard. Very informative video

Yes, melee before the turret pull and you can negate part of the animation and the sound I believe

You can do it a little bit quicker than when I did it there. If you time it right bullets come out of your head for a second and it can really throw off enemies!

I personally love playing bastion. If you think about it, he's similar to Winston. A cycle of explosive value with a long cooldown of no value. A more punishable winton.

i been playing hitscan since ow1.. I SWEAR THAT bastion primary is not hitscan. on ow1 he was and you notice it but on ow2 i feel i have to lead my shots or there is a travel time on the shots. if i shoot with hammond i can instantly feel its a hitscan, and i hit my target on long range, but on bastion no... so many times i have my crosshair on someone and i know the shot should had hit but it dosent...

it's hitscan, but because of the lower RoF it sometimes feels like you're missing shots you should've hit. It's one of the reasons why I think bastion's recon gun should return to the RoF it used to have before.
