They reduced the drop rate drastically on Genetic Apex when Mythical Island came out. I opened 120 Genetic Apex after Mythical Island came out and got 0 2 stars, 0 immersives, and 0 crown rares, and maybe 6 EX cards.

This game reminds me a lot of Duel Links but in Pokemon form. I’ll probably just build a Blaine deck since it’s f2p friendly and very casually grind but mostly use it to collect. I like how you can treat it like an idle game and ignore the PVP entirely for those that hate card games.

The packs having different cards but it's all under the same set is very counter intuitive. Since 1999 we've had pokemon sets with different pack arts and they don't explain in the tutorials (or if they did it was so brief that i missed it) that the packs are actually different.

It prelaunched in Australia a month ago. That's why people have a grasp on the meta, but Pikachu ex is still the best deck. Aggro decks like early metas with few cards because of the straight forward design, and how Pikachu wants many good basics.

I played blind pull in my first account. Then second account I tried Charizard boosters but got nothing good. Then 3rd roll, Pikachu booster pulls and got 3 copies of Pikachu-EX and 2 electrobuzz. And I think it's a keeper.

I have played the pokemon tcg diggitally since the 1st base set for Gameboy color. That really takes me back. Never tried modern pokemon tcg, but glad to try this since it is mobile.

Fully recommend playing the Team Great Rocket sequel game. There are also great mods for TCG1, like the Neo update. Sweet glorious emulation.

Charizard deck to start out, but once Mew is released, I’m definitely collecting them all and running a Mew deck. I’m more in for collecting and opening/trading with friends, but I love the battle style with the energy, so I’ll probably do some battling too.

Pretty much the same but i started with the mewtwo packs ! Open a little bit of everything after but already got a couple bangers like porygon , pidgeot , ditto and alakazam alt art and articuno mewtwo and gengar ex ! Im gonna get so addicted to this game

There is actually a mew card that you can get after completing a kanto dex quest but it's not an EX variant mew card

If I were to reroll, Charizard pack till I get the starmies and a foundation for a blaine deck. If I'm happy, I'll go for mewtwo pack for Articuno, Mewtwo ex, ralts Evo line. Once that's done. Go for completion. So Pikachu pack last.

We can play againts AI. And there are lots of difficulties and AI decks to play againts

You can play pve whenever you want. The advances decks are pretty tough. But after first cleae no rewards of exp are given. Only pvp and only if you win you get 15 exp.

Personally, after playing an insane amount of gacha games, cell phone games in general, this ones pretty good. Very easy to casually play and collect. 2 free packs everyday just for logging in, do that for a few weeks and you're bound to get cool/good cards. Not every single thing you do in life has to have some serious meaning. Enjoy it sometimes.
