Detour Noir is amazing!! I can't believe I'm late to the party. The opening and dry down is sooo good. That sweet vanilla and spices is a very nice smell. It performs very well. Sillage, Projection, and Longevity is great. I am so glad to add this wonderful fragrance to my collection.

I have Layton from 4 years and i love it! Yesterday i recieve Detour Noir and men... the juice is 90% close! I think i won't buy Layton again - too expensive!

I just got my Layton from the jomashop sale and I’m incredibly disappointed even at the big discount. It’s not that it smells bad, but I bought detour noir about a month and a half ago. It’s almost identical I really can’t tell the difference. Is there really a benefit to buying Layton over detour noir?

I never would have guessed Layton by looking at the notes, but I'll have to add it to the list as soon it's available here in the States - don't see it anywhere. Also, I noticed a Rouge version that's supposed to smell like Allure Homme Sport. Would appreciate if you could try this one to. Also, I never replaced by bottle of Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme (the EDT) because the EDP version it was replaced performed terrible. It smelled almost identical, but the EDP was a skin scent after 30-minutes. EDT = Compliment Magnet; EDP = no one could smell it. Cheers!

you can't buy this in the UK. And its been reformulated, i believe

@@chloetv1 yes it has been reformulated and shifted from 60ml to 80ml bottles BUT the smell has improved in the opening as it is smoother and still performs well

A bought it a month ago and I’m not quite sure what i think about this fragrance. Sometimes i really enjoy the DNA 🧬 and sometimes I’m wondering why so many people like the smell of it. It’s so weird 😂 I think it’s the opening that i don’t like, there is this one specific note that i don’t like. But after 10 minutes it starts to get much better. I got a compliment from my buddy who don’t like sweet fragrances at all but this one he likes for whatever reason. I think it’s a good perfume for it’s price. The bottle is trash let’s just be honest, especially the cap feels sharp and cheap, but as long as the sprayer is okay and the juice quality is good, I’m fine with it. I wish it projected a little bit better, so i don’t need to over spray that much, but again it’s acceptable for it’s price. Long story short I’m not a huge fan of the DNA but at the same time i enjoy it somehow. Great video 👊

Let me say Layton is good perfume. But no matter what cologne or perfume it is, if you got a bad batch or a bad perfume you can smell it. And it can be from anything from bleau de Chanel to dior savage and this or whatever if the batch or perfume is not quality it doesn’t matter. I really hate when people/brands or even stores sell perfumes that have all these qualities of being long lasting etc.. and then when you spray it you can’t even get it to project or last 1 hour.. so Sometimes i feel its about luck when you buy perfumes sadly. I had two Layton’s first was amazing great performance and longevity and second was plain bad performance, i dont know why but this is a big problem as you can get a new experience every time not knowing what to expect when buying a freaking perfume

Imho that alcoholic burst is not an opening, but just a burst during the first minute that almost every fragrance has got. The opening of Layton is not sharp. PDM Layton shines from the opening to that “burning forest” type Drydown to me. I ordered Detour Noir and let’s see what I will receive
