Thanks! And yes, it does rotate horizontally. Since then, the holder failed and would no longer grab the phone. RSpeed sent me a replacement “upgraded” cradle and it works even better! I’ll have to do a follow-up video with my current upgrades as well. Thanks for watching!

Did you modify the foot part of the mount to allow your charging/data cable to connect? The photos of the mount at Rspeed show a solid foot.

There’s a gap at the base of the holder for the charger cable to connect. I didn’t modify anything. I haven’t seen their product update. Also, I got a better version after I posted this video. Link soon. (It was Rspeed’s recommendation).

doesn't this block the vent? does the phone heat up during winter when heating is on?

It’s not blocking the vent. Doesn’t heat up from the heater blowing. It’s far enough in front and to the side. Not hurting it.
