This channels videos are really on an excellent level (kind of giving me Mr. Mobile quality vibes). I am surprised that this channel does not have more subs but I am sure with this quality, the 100k subs are just around the corner. Keep it up my friend. P.S. watching this on my oppo find n3 (same phone). Best phone I have ever owned

Interesting video. OnePlus Open is the one who have hyped me the most because of format and multitasking. iPhone 13 Pro and Nothing Phone 1 are my 2 daily phones and i will keep them until they die😅. 2 great phones: 1 for cameras and the other for the best daily user experience.

I’ve done it. I’ve found my holy grail techtuber. The process to which you came to your conclusions about this device are very sound and I value the things that you value similarly, which means I can basically trust your opinion on most devices now as I trust your thought process. Ah. My daily driver. AND it just got Android 14 yesterday and got even smoother than before. My sim hasn't left this phone for months now and it's the best foldable...hell, it's one of my favorite phones ever.

@@DUICE08 it said in the notes that they improved the animations and performance but usually when I see that I never notice the difference...not this time...and this phone WAS ALREADY fast and smooth.

@@majtechtings facts! Was already fast and smooth! It was already smoother than my s24 ultra. Now it's not even fair. This has been my main device since I got it and I have yet to switch over to my Samsung.

Same here have a fold and an s24 ultra. And I use the OnePlus open nonstop. It's def the best overall phone on the market

@@alexmotts I have the pixel fold and the fold 5. They're just backups at this point in case the open breaks or something because it hasn't missed for me. Love this thing lol.

Sad, it took 5 months after Android 14 release to come to this device and almost 3 months after the device is released. Oneplus software updates aren't reliable at all.

I agree about the camera. I have a 15 pro, pixel 8 pro and s24 ultra. I do like the Open photos the best. There's just something about them like you said. They look very DSLR like

Bit of a weird question, but do you remember what height(ish) you dropped the phone from (ie from your pocket/waist or from your ear if you were taking a call)? I love my Open without a case on it but haven't really been able to find any solid 3rd party drop tests that make me feel confident in daily driving it without a case.

Good review. Android 14 will eventually make it in Europe. Oppo were banned in Europe not OnePlus. The former have now made a deal with Nokia and are back on track to sell devices in Europe again.

I wish I got it during Black Friday sale last year was really good price, only foldable that comes close is the Honor magic V2 but downside with Honor is the software.

Hii all Im from India As u al know samsung z fold 6 has just launched And I'm confused between one plus open and samsung z fold 512gb variant Price is not an issue for me Im currently using samsung note 20 ultra My concern is one plus open launched in October 2023 and z fold 6 has just arrived I can go without Wireless charging I don't use Wireless charging I'm confused btw one plus open and samsung z fold 6 Please suggest

The hardware is solid -- am I the only one still bothered by UI latency/targeting of touch devices? Each touch in the video has 150-200ms response time, and ORBIT has to tap multiple times on the same UI control at many points throughout the video (but clearly is tapping in the right place). Back in 2014 I was on an android OS team trying to decrease UI latency, but that effort got parked. Looks like it still might be parked.
