I've had most flagship iPhones from as far back as the 3GS! I recently got the Pixel 9 Pro and it's quite possibly the best phone I've ever owned! It's just as fast in what I use it for, the AI is leagues ahead, battery life has been great and I've found myself missing nothing so far.

Other than marginal the CPU/GPU increase, what's really different or "game-changing" here? Not much other that the unreliable AI features that Samsung will CHARGE you for after this year! Really? Let's face the FACTS - there are NO innovations in cellphones, as the last SEVERAL years have proven! Now, since NOTHING to talk about, they PUSH AI which is STILL unreliable AF yet as "they" say is the next greatest thing only we will CHARGE you after this year! WTF? GREED creates blindness and uselessness, as we are seeing today! Not a FAN is this "new" business tactic.

95% of Western media and KZbinrs will always find a way to twist reality in a subtle, insidious and pernicious way to say and make people believe that Galaxy are bad, and iPhones, Pixels are better, they all seem to be simply pro Google and mostly Pro-Apple 🍏, but in fact, they are pro Western/American brands. Yes the S25 Ultra should have had more hardware upgrades, but honestly apart from the 6000mAh battery🔋on Chinese Android smartphones, what are the hardware upgrades that justify smartphones like the OnePlus 13 and Pixel 9 Pro XL having seen price increases, or smartphones like the Oppo Find X8 Pro, Vivo X200 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max being as expensive if not more expensive than the S25 Ultra 🤔 Not to mention the fact that, in reality and despite the Galaxy's slightly higher Msrp compared to most smartphones, thanks to deals, trade-in, gifts, carriers deals and other coupons, in the markets actually targeted by the Galaxy S, people pay $300-$500 less for a Galaxy than for an iPhone counterpart, and almost the same price as a OnePlus 13 or other imported Chinese smartphones, without having to suffer all the possible inconveniences that come with imported smartphones, but above all, with all the guarantees in terms of software, software monitoring, after sales...

Will say Now Brief has been good for giving me the times to set off to work to get there for my wanted time, same with showing active alarm sets all in one place. But true its not exactly brilliant in its current state. Also don't fully like the comparison of just the previous year of phones, many will be coming up from several years before too, like myself with the S22U, for me the S25U has had many improvements on what I thought was a solid device. Especially the shape and flat screen.

Probably true up to a point , but at least apple is not taking features away from, and new or not at least apple added the multi function camera button , and look at last years galaxy , look at the previous years galaxy , look at the previous years galaxy before that 😂😂😂😂😂 , I wouldn’t be sooking too much about apple if I was you😊. Take away googles AI from the galaxy , and snapdragons chipset which gave all the performance , gains not Samsung , and all you have is some very slight cosmetics and glue on rings on the camera lenses and a feature taken away on the Galaxy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. A bunch of other Android devices will get the snapdragon chipset , some will have better cameras and still be substantially cheaper , and I wonder if they will be charging a subscription for AI by the end of the year as Samsung has stated it will 😂😂😂😂😂.

Absolutely disgraceful samsung deleting the bluetooth function on the S pen , it makes a mockery of giving it the Ultra tag. And remembering all the other long time features Samsung has taken away since the note 10. They should just call it an S with a budget S pen , because that’s about all it is.

Oppo, OnePlus are not Samsung competitors, maybe in tech but not in sales and marketshare. S25 Ultra is great. Average consumers use to keep their phones longer. Tech enthousiasts can buy other phones if they are really "enthousiasts". Brand loyalty is a non sense when a market is so mature or when some brands are not available in most countries

@mikldude93764 күн бұрын
Well , some are old as the hills bud , and the brief feature has for years been ignored by most on many brands because people like to do their own thing at their own time table . Even the AI stuff , the on phone stuff can be useful on the phone in day to day , but a lot of the AI is very gimmicky , on looking up information with google , I get Gemini answers even on my note 9 and iPhone , the best AI feature I’ve seen so far is the phone hold feature on my pixel , but I don’t use it that often , and it’s still free , Sammy is threatening to charge a subscription for AI by the end of the year. Personally I miss a lot of the features that were hardware which we no longer have , not to mention the value that came every time you bought a new phone and got accessories in the box with the phone. Those days are gone , you get nothing in the box except a bloody cable , the phone is called ultra , and yet Sammy has taken yet another feature away , and you are paying full price and then some for the privilege . It’s an absolute shit show in my book .

I feel like Samsung is playing it too safe, which is the least "Samsung" thing ever. I’ve followed the brand since the Luminix Easy, and the S25 Ultra feels uninspired. Even the colors-Jet Black isn’t black, it’s dark gray. The Z series, they’ve just made minor upgrades without risks, relying too much on ecosystem loyalty. Samsung used to be good, bold and innovative; I don’t want them to lose that.
@bankaimaster9994 күн бұрын
That is exactly why people are upset ... the S-Pen thing is just shock and awe ... People are upset that they played it safe and then took a unique feature away (regardless if barely anyone used it) and then promoted a bunch of generic features all devices have or will have. I think Samsung was already afraid of trying brand new tech since the note battery incident and that is why they didn't use it this time. They were already leaks from other people saying that samsung was looking into using the new batteries but ultimately chickened out of it, especially when they had plans to put a custom SD8 Elite in the device that could potentially run hotter (even with the bigger vapor chamber). I believe this was also a time to test the waters for the removing the S-Pen battery to save some money at our expense ... However, given the market feedback you can expect silicon carbon batteries in the S26, maybe a camera upgrade or new tech to tweak it further, a new SD8 Elite gen 2 with another noticeable bump in performance (based on the rumors so far) and a updated design. I think next year they are also trying to release their tri-fold stuff as well ... My one gripe though with all this is that Samsung is not putting enough work into maintining sustained performance for the chipset ... they think slapping a bigger vapor chamber alone wiill fix things; when Oneplus is showing them that isn't enough. PEAK performance <<<< Sustained performance ... Samsung need to rework their vapor chamber to handle proper sustained performance with those overclocked chips otherwise the regular ones will still beat it out.
@matheusguedesbaguiar4 күн бұрын
@@bankaimaster999 Exactly. I think at least the batteries will be included with the S26. Another thing Samsung should have done in One UI 7 is implement the animation mechanism that OPPO and OnePlus use in their systems-it's really, really good and fast. I think that would matter more than just adding a super powerful processor. Also, I found it very strange that the S25 Ultra scored around 2.3M on AnTuTu, while competitors without overclocking or custom chips reached 2.9-3M. That Note incident really seems to have made them hesitant. But come on, it’s been a long time. They invested in foldables, had issues, and still pushed forward, you know? But with this line, they’re acting kind of Apple-ish. 😮💨
@katinasoutherland76934 күн бұрын
@@bankaimaster999I couldn't agree more. I've been saying this since the revolt, after the launch, the Samsung, we'll bring at least a 6000 mAh battery, Bluetooth back. And at least one new camera. Maybe more? I bought the s25U bcz my s22U was given me problems with scrolling after the last update. If not I'd have waited until next year. I must admit this phone is amazing. The loss of weight alone makes a major difference for me. They've done well with animations also. This phone just flies, it's super fast beyond smooth. I seriously can't complain yet. I will because we should've at least gotten 16 GB of Ram and bigger batteries.

@katinasoutherland7693 I had the S21 and chose an A55 to see if a more expensive device was really worth it for me. So far, it’s been great-I even prefer some things on the A55 over the S21. I tried the S25 Ultra in-store, and I really appreciate the display, speed, and One UI 7. It's a wonderful smartphone, no doubt. Competition is strong, and Apple’s loyalty base is insane, while Samsung’s feels more rational. I’d love an S26 Ultra with top-tier market hardware and Samsung’s global ecosystem.

I feel like a lot of people are opting to upgrade to this from previous Samsung Ultras because its "the best Samsung has on offer", rather than it being the absolute best technology on offer, like what Samsung used to be like. I get that the trade-in deals can make it pretty tempting but even still, you are still talking about 300 USD/EUR to make the switch from say an S23 Ultra, which is still a lot of money. I guess you would make 200 of that back in future value, but what does everyone else think? Without trade-in offers though, it's tough to sell.
