You mention that I would have to bring my own Laptop. No problem, but it does make me wonder, what do you have for electricity both on the houseboat & at the hotel? If I book a trip, I would be coming from North America (Canada) with 110-120V 60Hz is the norm. Thanks.

When i come from Germany Frankfurth Airport, which Airport is close to you and who picks me up from the airport. What about the Corona Problems? Do i need a Visa?
@PangolinWildlife
@PangolinWildlife 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Christof. To answer your questions. The closest airport is Kasane (BBK). You wont need a visa to enter Botswana on a German passport. Lastly have a look at this blog where we have outlined our Covid protocols. www.pangolinphoto.com/pangolin-covid19-protocol-update . Hope it helps. If you need anything further please email us on info@pangolinphoto.com.

I know it’s part and parcel of spending time with wild animals, but I would feel uncomfortable, and upset, seeing animals actually killed. Is this an unavoidable part of the safari?
@PangolinWildlife
@PangolinWildlife 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rik, it is not very common to see an actual kill. I have seen maybe 4 life kills during my entire career here and I am a very soft hearted person. However, you might see predators "on a kill" or a dead animal that has passed from natural causes more often as cats can take a few days to feed depending on the size of the prey. When you do happen to see baby lions you start cheering for the other side though... it is a tough circle of life out here - Cheers Janine
@rikstone7059
@rikstone7059 3 жыл бұрын
@@PangolinWildlife thanks for that, Janine. We did a Kenyan safari in ‘90 and interrupted a lion chasing a zebra when the wagon accidentally drove between them. I was happy for the zebra and a bit sad for the lion because I appreciate this is the way of their life. That said, I don’t wish to witness the scene.
