I've been following you for over a year now and the level of your play has noticeably improved. I watched this match live with a friend and we were both blown away by how well Staks played the first game (lights out, every shot brilliant) and then how you were able to flip the script on him midway through Game 2. I predicted in previous comments over a year ago that you would be a top 10 player. The fact that you have largely tamed your emotions has certainly helped in your mental approach to the game and that has translated to more confidence which was apparent in this video. You are a better athlete than Ben and as you develop even better instincts of where your opponent is going to hit his next shot (Ben is the best at this), you will surpass him in the next couple of years.

In your match with Federico, you brought your game up to a new level. You carried that momentum in your finals match with Ben Johns and almost won. You will be number 2 before long; this is the best I've ever seen you play.

I mentioned in a previous video (I think the one where you looked visibly angry) that I didn't see your breath control being visible. This match you could really see your cheeks inflating and blowing out when you are preparing to serve. Correlation is not necessarily causation but it can be. I watched this match previously.....was sooo happy you came back!!!

Amazing comeback !! Yes, you are right. No lead is safe in Pickleball - unless it is rally scoring. Nevertheless it requires courage and determination to go for your strokes when even a small mistake can be fatal.

I've had so many come from behind wins in pickleball and not nearly as many in tennis. Tennis was always more difficult to come back if you are down a set especially unless you have better cardio than your opponent.

You might be able to demo paddles at a local tennis or pickleball facility, but yes, a lot of paddles are sold online.
