This tends to only work for guys that are deemed 'on their level' and to be on that level you need to be what is deemed by society as 'attractive' and don't get me started with dating sites or apps, since that just gives women what they look for (in my experience anyway).....looks. That is what i have experienced over the years.

This is exactly the advice Mark Manson gives in his book "Models" - 1). say hi, 2) state your name, 3) preface things with "I know this is kinda random", or "I don't mean to interrupt you, but.. 4) state that you think she looks pretty/cute, and that you just wanted to meet her....If you acknowledge that you introducing yourself is unexpected as far as she's concerned, it will ensure there's no creepiness in your contact with her.

John M i prefer to be more indirect. So instead i would qualify her with an honest compliment that she may not have heard too often. Telling her that she looks pretty/cute is something she would have obviously heard hundreds of times from men. Its too obvious to her. Instead i would compliment her on the way she dresses and tell her she obviously knows how to make a fashion statement. What she is wearing exudes confidence because shes not afraid to be the centre of attention. You love people who exude confidence its such an attractive quality. If more people had the confidence to dress like her this world would be so much more amazing to observe. She will absolutely love this personality qualification from you. This is the most successful way to initiate and engage conversation with a pretty girl 👍 not to mention spark attraction in her for you! Try this next time you approach an attractive girl...it will have an even greater impact on her than just telling her that you think she looks pretty/cute.

So sick of the coffee shop scenario. Seems like it's the stereotypical ideal place to meet someone. My experience has been that these places are usually packed with students and hipsters. Most of the women that are there, are usually students and with a boyfriend or friends. If you do manage to land a date, and you make it a coffee shop date, then you are usually surrounded by an audience of students and their laptops listening in on your conversation.

Cold approaching by unattractive men doesn't work. Has been tried by many unattractive men with zero results! As soon as the unattractive, confident man says 'Hi' the following happens: She sees his face. Her brain has instantly registered whether or not she finds him physically attractive. If she finds him physically attractive, she'll smile. The man can now relax as she welcomes him to talk to her. Her smile is a positive response. His nerves slowly go away, his confidence and chat grow stronger. If she doesn't find him physically attractive then several things can happen: 1. She won't smile / gives a dirty look. 2. Won't stop and carries on walking. 3. Stops but doesn't show interest to talk. Gives one word answers. The man feels he's fighting a losing battle. Negative response yet he's trying his best to get the conversation to flow but she's trying to shut him down. 4. She'll be polite and engage in a conversation. She's already decided that she's not attracted to him but out of social politeness she'll be friendly and up for a quick chat. He feels there was a positive vibe so he asks for her number. She's actually single but will lie and say she has a boyfriend / husband. 5. The women who don't beat around the bush tell the man at the beginning they're not interested and they continue walking. 6. The women who are rude tell the unattractive man to go away, or during mid conversation, while they check him out, make an excuse that they're busy, abruptly end the conversation and walk away. 7. She'll lead him on by pretending there's a positive vibe and chats with him, feigning interest and happily gives her number when he asks. However, when he contacts her later that day, she ignores him, gives one word answers or flakes when arranging a date! There's no such thing as 'the best pick up line'. As long as the approach is respectful, the man is physically attractive in her eyes and she's single, then any opening line that's relevant to the surrounding will do. Psychologists and social / human behaviour experts have proven with tests and experiments when it comes to attraction that BOTH men AND women are attracted to looks first, everything else comes after. As soon as strangers meet, BOTH men AND women have already registered in their brains whether or not they find each other physically attractive before any word is spoken! Men's looks matter to women just as much as women's looks matter to men. FACTS!

There is no reason to date a girl unless her father can hire me. Then her family will tell me how she is and if they are great honest people, fine. If they are a huge problem zone, then I can weigh the cost of her vs them. If you meet a fine girl and her father hates you and her mother is cold or goofy..........what do you get for being more involved. You end up married into a vortex of stress with no friends but her. ? Not worth it.

i'm no expert, but the whole thing is really confidence. Yes, you are going to get rejected. If that bothers you, play video games. Same as a job. Elon Musk will be rejected from some jobs he applies to. They may feel is he is overqualified, expensive, maybe even lacks the skill they need. But flip side is not to give a fuck and move on. Guys have high T and are supposed to be resistant to that. That is why women rarely approach. A shy guy who fears rejection is a Low-T guy, like a lady. He may get lucky and meet someone but often the case is he will end up alone. If you meet the right woman the act of coming up to her is a turnon in itself. It is like a man getting a glimpse of a naked lady, which does little for most women. And the looks thing - everyone has a type and you never know until you try. Even among celebrities - where they have infinite choice, some marry unattractive partners. And look at bradd pitt (supposedly perfect? She threw his ass out and he almost got charged with shit). Some of those "unattractive" choices are lifetime partners and quite attractive women stick with them. Because there are qualities inside too. And if you feel that good about yourself, you will want to share it with the right lady. With this defeatist mindset companies should spend no money on advertising because many will not buy the product. Maybe 5% (if you are lucky) people seeing a facebook ad buy anything from it. Everything in this fucking life is a risk. Even after you meet her, marry, have kids, there are risks and problems. Not saying it is a perfect situation but if you have so much inhibition and don't want to step out of a comfort zone get a fleshlight.
