That's a really cool looking piece of cook kit. Love the multi-purpose use. Especially cool using it to bake pizza in. Have a great weekend.

Totally! While it is a little heavy compared to the titanium stuff people use, it is so versatile it could be the only pot you bring, and do everything from boiling water to cooking eggs! Thanks for stopping by!

Saw the thumbnail and expected a seven-minute encomium on five gallon buckets with lids. Now I need a new piece of gear.

Yeah I put a lot of thought into the thumbnail. I was concerned people would think “I know I don’t need a bucket!” And not watch.

It reminds me of the air filter housing I had on the 350 in the 87 K10 pickup. You'd think for $98 they could include a handle. I'll just keep using the $25 aluminum mess kit I've been using for 30 years since I was in Boy Scouts. It has a pan (with a handle), pot with lid, bowl that can double as a lid for the pan, and a 1 cup measuring/drink cup. I also have a more thorough mess kit my father gave me 20 years ago that I think cost him $50 when he bought it 30+ years ago. Still works great, takes up less space than this, costs less, and even has handles for the pans lol. Also, it doesn't have the toxic Teflon coating. That's what butter or oil are for.

All of those are valid responses - though this pan doesn’t have Teflon - and is more nonstick than just a metal pan, but it is a great pan. Yes, it’s expensive, but for me the versatility is amazing, and the durability is unparalleled with the possible exception of cast iron. But all your responses are spot on. It’s about what works for you.

Worth of around 100 bucks - but you wouldn’t pay that much 😂

I simply couldnt afford to pay that much! You know how little an outdoor educator makes?

@@AdventureOtaku No I don’t how much but I could guess close to nothing. You were this time the last one on long list youtube influensers who give a positive review of gizmo they never buy themselves. I know your wasn’t paid ad, but the honest opinion. Still it sounded… hilarious ;)

I didn’t buy it, but I do own it AND use it. The recommendation is real. But I can see how it sounded funny. Thanks for your comments, and stopping by!

There is an Alpine size that is 8" in diameter, which would be better for backpacking than the 10.5" Expedition size. Both are available in shallow and deep pan walls. They are great pans!

@JAGtheGEOLOGIST yes! A friend has the 8 inch deep. I really want one!
