Nice. I would check out the Shehds wireless dongles instead of the donners. The Shehds ones last about 20 hours compared to about 8 at max for the donners. I love em.

Hey, I wanted to ask something. With the new FLX10 coming out, I've looked at several of these tubes. It would seem pretty easy to set that up with the DMX out that the new pioneer controller has. But I would of course be limited to rekordbox lighting if I want to keep it simple. Have you ever tried these bar/tube/rail lights with rekordbox directly? I'm curious what four of these daisy chained together would look like in a minimalistic mobile DJ setup... The other thing I wonder about is matrix lighting - I won't be able to use that in rekordbox lighting at all, right? Sry very new to this, but your vids have definately intrigued me to get into lighting!

I haven't tried rekordbox lighting yet. I've heard mixed reviews. You could definitely use these lights with it!

Hey Daryl, I'm getting a couple of these to use with SoundSwitch. I'm currently using GrandMa2's external visualizer for SoundSwitch that you actually helped me set up thanks to another video. I can't seem to find a good fixture in GrandMa2 that matches the 2 stacks of 8 DMX profile on these lights. Do you possibly have a recommendation if you've used these with the visualizer?

I'd probably create my own fixture. I'd take a fixture that is similar and edit the XML, like maybe the chauvet colorband pix

You temporarily add one to your project lol. You create a new project with the "Save As" option so you don't mess anything up

I like gravity stands, but those can be pricey. Speaker stands are an affordable alternative. Or you can try flat based mic stands

Pricing has gone through the roof on these. They are over twice the price now, the value is no longer there. I received a quote of $434 for a 6 Pack bundle July 9th, 2023. Today that same order costs $933.

Check out the Jusmo LS09 projector stand. It is only around 3 ft high fully extended but I added a 12 “ Gimbal extension to get it above 4ft.

I hear you, my camera, the Sony A7C with a Tamron lense is actually really hard to switch between manual and auto haha it's buried in the menu. I checked all the links (being in the US) and all the links still work. But the oppsk light only has one left in stock. I'm sure they'll replenish it

how hard do you think it would be to convert these to Battery powered!? Also, I'd like to know if you need to use the w-DMX module for the Alibaba lights too or do they just run off a Donner transmitter?

These just use the normal donner DMX. Technically you could use W-dmx transceivers but not required
