I live in the Dallas TX area and have a good friend, James, who lives in Seaford. Almost every year I head over and James takes me to a different part of England each year for some road riding. About 4 years ago we spent nearly a week in the Peak District (followed by nearly a week in the Yorkshire Moors). This video brings back such good memories and some of it even looks familiar. The Peak District is one of my all time favorites in England, along with Dartmoor National Park! Awesome riding in many parts of England that most tourists don't get to see on a bike! Thanks for your great videos and the sunniest disposition!!

Castleton is a great place. The views from the top of Mam Tor are absolutely fantastic. Cycling up Winnats Pass would be my idea of hell... it's bloody steep and goes on forever! I've not cycled round there, but I've done hundreds of walks in the Peak District, including Castleton, and Winnats is awe inspiring to look at, but not to walk up. 😁 Nice video.

Watched this about half a dozen times now, I want to give it another thumbs-up! Super area, love the descent of Winnats. Done the broken road a couple of time s in the opposite direction but on MTB's. Great video, might have to watch it again! 👍🙂🚴

Poo and the Peak District are inseparable. Good to see my old MTB routes from the early 90s on your video, back when MTBs were less off-road capable than a modern GB. Live in Denmark now and really miss the Peaks.... What a great ride this was - stopped when you felt like it, enjoyed the moment. Zen. How it should be.

I've just got into gravel biking, hadn't considered the Peaks on it, I'm only 35 miles away (Notts)and would normally go on the XC. The bottom of the broken road is my starting point for my favourite Peaks loop, lord's seat, roych and down Jacob's ladder. A couple of us are heading up there in the next few weeks to tick off the cancelled BHF challenge.
