Love your videos! Would Querétaro work for a gay couple in 50's to move to from US? We are in hot Florida now, so would like to avoid hot/humid areas. CDMX seems expensive and you mentioned in another comment Puebla is more conservative.

Queretaro is a nice city. It is also very conservative. If you want an open minded city try Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City. Queretaro is clean, safe and has great weather. It’s a more conservative and quiet city. It depends on your taste.

Hello Lane Each place is completely different. It depends what kind of place you want to live in. Guanajuato is a very small city. Queretaro is a lot bigger and more near Mexico City. The other small towns in Querétaro are nice for a day trip but very small in my opinion to move there. It depends what you like.
