The additive part of the Friendly Forager means that any other chances to save secondaries are added together, rather than being a percent of a percent (multiplicative). The ammo saving effect from t1 masteries is multiplicative with ava's, so you get the 95% from the passive and then save an additional 72% of 95% from ava's. For FF, the 90% would be added to the Perscription Goggles from Mixology, which saves 10%, meaning a 100% chance to save secondaries (you'll still need 14 secondaries to do your whole inventory unless they recoded the engine for this relic, but never more than that many). I'm like 90% on my regions, but still got lots to decide. On the opposite side to you, my fun for the start of leagues is having a suuuper detailed plan to blast out tasks 😂

@@SmithyTV Taking Frem and getting the Assembler, along with the t1 passive mastery, will put you at something like 98 or 99% ammo saved. Still will rarely lose ammo, but super rarely

I'm going to go mage this year because I did range last year. I'm doing similar to you Wrangler, Dodgy Deals, Clue Compass, Reloaded -> Corner Cutter, Bankers Note, Overgrown I'm doing dodgy deals first just because as much as I hate agility, since run energy will always be maxed out I don't see it as important. But I still am coming back to it with Reloaded. I'm picking Kandarin, Desert, Morty/Asgarnia I haven't played in a while so I'm not 100% sure on what regions I should do if I go with mage. I figure desert is mandatory for ancients since I'm not using grimoire. I like life skilling a lot so I'm not too worried about maxing out mage. Thoughts?

Tbh I wouldn't go with Kandarin, most of the perks from there you can get via the relics, I'd say have a look at the echo drops too for mage related items, if you go with the Grimore relic, you can use that to switch spellbooks so won't need Desert for that specifically

Wrangler, Dodgy Deals, Clue Compass, Reloaded -> Corner Cutter, Bankers Note, Pocket Kingdom, Last Stand Kourend, Desert, Morty/Asgarnia I'm mainly doing desert for ancients because the grimoire is T7 and I feel like it'll be a while until I get there plus I really like pocket kingdoms idea of getting all the materials for a lot of life skills. Maybe I should switch desert to do it first so I get ancients quicker then kourend secondly. Plus if I do dodgy and corner cutter, maybe I'd make a lot of money in desert first... Hmmm

So for covering pots, gonna rock varlamore with the hunter mixes for combats and prayer pots, covers food and such, add in banker notes and only need hunter for it, sunlight crossbow added bonus.

Current Plan is Wildernesss Morytania Fremmy in that order. Animal Wrangler Clue Compass Banker's Note Dodge Deals Grimore Last Stand (because revieing with stats is amazing) Mastery Plan is rush 5 Magic early for Jad and Zuk kills, 5 melee next to help out with subpar mage dps midgame preshadow and then after shadow most just sit magic with high dps. Early magic for blood Barrage healing and afk slayer will be great and having melee in the offstyle will really help to farm tob for the shadow.

I think i'm going mining and rushing zombie axe for early game, great for boss fights i'm going wild so it'll be great against vet'ion and venenatis. revs. have the agility relic for going to wilderness agility early for supplies/money.

I'm also keen on the 5/5/0 masteries in tirranwn but I'm accepting that I've never touched gauntlet and probably gonna want tier 6 range just to get my hands on that blessing. If I can beat echo hunllef once at tier 5 I'll then decide between 5/5/0 and 4/6/0

The Mining relic is awesome for TOA and COX mining rooms. + If you're going range, amethyst mining for darts/arrows is amazing too.

Sounds like a sweet plan, gamer! I'm going to focus ranged, so I'm thinking Kourend for all the skilling and tasks, tiranwnn, and fremmy. I need to learn CoX, bummed I won't be able to raid with ya but excited to see what content you get from a different path! Should be lots of fun, this league has some insane relics and passives already and the combat masteries are incredible. Let's get after it! I also have never done DKs successfully hahaha so I might get wrecked by them but it'll be good to learn. Same with CG, never done it main game! But I'm confident farming zulrah, muspah, and vorky so I'll have a good mix of new stuff to learn and a few that I can easily farm.

That's kind of the beauty of this kind of League, everyone will pretty much take a slightly altered direction meaning a completely different experience! Some crazy ones have been announced so far but I reckon there's some bangers still to come and I like that combat has been extracted out into it's own thing. Haha I've got some guides up on how to pick and choose which DK you want to fight with safe spots! Got a tips video for CG too you might find helpful, definitely a learning curve on that!

Im probably going: Regions 1st Wilderness (elite tier echo) 2nd Morytania (elite tier echo) 3rd Fremenik (Master tier echo) Relcis: - Animal Wrangler -Clue Compass -Bankers Note -Dodgy Deals (Hate thieving) -Grimoire/the herb one is a very hard one, probably the Grimoire, but farming and herbs gonna be such a pain, but im tryna get wildy first region so pots/herbs got kinda sorted that way. For combat 5-3-2 is the goal, maybe first get 3-3, then get 5-3 then 5-3-2. Im guessing you need a good hybrid setting for the echo bosses. The 1 tick faster makes a huge increase in dps. The 2 for mage seems pretty op with the shadow, and since im prob going the grimoire, can burst and things. Can also get the venator bow/black chins for range multi slay task. Can also get the kopesh for multi melee tasks.

@@demenpoolful sounds like you’re going to have a very nicely rounded build, defo a tricky decision between the spellbook/prayers one and the herb relic, limpwurts were goated for farming XP last time and with PVM, you get so many herb supplies it shouldn’t be too hard… famous last words 😂

Glad you enjoyed Raylee! Ready for some gaming then haha! On the combat masteries you get 10 unlocks, each combat style having 6 unlockable abilities. To get an unlock you need to complete one of the combat mastery tasks

You had pretty much the same idea as me with being locked on for Tiranwnn and fremennik (cause of the crystal and jewellery combo) but after that I was a bit stuck for a 3rd choice. First thought was Kourend for full ancestral and having a raid. The problem is that there isn't much boss content between those 3 with cox only really having olm and a few others in zeah. So I was then thinking about chucking one of my first 2 picks for asgarnia for the dogsword and gwd. I had thought of Mory but since it's mostly a melee region, it's a bit counterintuitive with the armour sets when crystal armour exists and the frem necklace simply being better than rancour. I think you've convinced me on Mory though cause of the barrows gloves, barrows sets will be fun to try out and I need to try out nightmare and regular tob for my ironman. Also on my cox grind there so doing cox on leagues would kinda suck getting those big drops. Wildy was another idea I had cause the kbd weapon just looks so cool, but the rest feels kinda eh.

I think Mory offers a lot of fun end game stuff and also can have a play around with 1hp Dharok bombing stuff with all the crazy relics hahaha! Yeah any purple lights at CoX would be bitter sweet for sure!

@@SmithyTV yeah, my thoughts too, I think I have frem and mory locked in now for the most part. Now I’m considering Asgarnia vs tiranwnn but I’d be lacking a mage weapon without the swamp. So I have to consider if all the extra bosses and some zaryte crossbow/dogsword madness is worth gimping my mage set slightly nerfing my other set ups, since full crystal to cover range and melee would be huge at nightmare and tob.

Im gonna be honest, i have no clue what im going to be doing. I want to take the range route 4/6/0 but i am absolutely torn on regions. The only region im 100% chosing is fremmy but im stuck on what the other two will be. Mory/Desert/Asgarnia/Val/Tir/Wildy all seem so good...

I’d say weigh up a list of bosses in those areas, ones you like, ones you hate and ones you’ve not done before (then want to do and don’t want to do). Should make things a bit clearer on if you’ll enjoy playing that area

im genuinely struggling to decide lool . t3 melee t6 range t1 mage, asgarnia and frem are pretty much solidified for me (not sure what order ill go in yet) so im debating what my raid region should be. since i dont care about accuracy and have frem jewellery for ranged str do i just skip desert for masori f and go morytania for tank ranged with justi? . or do i just sit in torva since thats pretty tanky and pick kourend? and after figuring what my raid region is i need to figure out what relics i take ahhhhhh

u have asgarnia and fremmy for ranged, ur best range gear is void (even better than masori) if u have the 6 range combat masteries anyway, so u shouldnt feel obliged to pick desert for masori

@@SmithyTV Yeah I get you. I’ve never done any raids before and heard that ToA is the easiest to learn/solo. With the combat masteries, I think that the Echo weapon can shine. Especially with the no misses and heals. You can basically get tankiest gear and still burn through the enemies with ranged. I’ll most likely go 3-6-1 in the combat masteries

Definitely easiest to solo, the invocations does make it easier to get into it but I just find it a bit of a tedious raid with all the pre-bosses and that. That is true, it's definitely an OP weapon, but the BP with relics is like a machine gun 😂 that sounds like a nice balance to me

Haha the beauty of Leagues! CoX is the first raid I learnt and defo has the least amount of BS before getting into the main fight, TOA has it's invocations to scale the difficulty but all them demi-boss fights are Zzzzzzzz Yeah I'd like to see how Varlamore plays in a League, maybe on my HC or next League I'll try it! Grimoire is a noob trap. Piety isnt a valuable enough prayer, ancients are basically irrelevant in leagues, unless they buff thralls you'll do so much dps that the thrall dps addition is negligible. And the reason kandarin was a strong pick in the past wasn't for piety, it was for zenytes which are nearly irrelevant with the DK echo boss drops

Haha that is the con of going with animal wrangler, no passive ammo stock up, but with PvM and slayer you'll have looooads of smithing supplies and if you go with tirranwn, Zalcano can sort you out there too! Also thinking maybe I go 4/6/0 but want to get to tier 5 range first then decide

It's a lot of fun and the points you earn you can use to buy cosmetics in main game. Also a chance to try out boss/other content you haven't done before with the added bonus of the relics and passive perks, making hard content easier so you can learn the mechanics which you can after hopefully transfer back into main game
