Hello! I am Moroccan and we have a sort of vegan version of this dish, obviously not intentionally made for vegan people haha, but we can enjoy coincidences. I actually prefer it over the normal Shakshuka and it's called Taktuka, quite similar isn't it? As for the recipe, it's very easy, you just need pepper bells, either green or red but green makes it look more colourful :p, diced tomatoes, olive oil, a bit of garlic, cumin, salt and pepper (this is a very iconic trio for maghrebi/moroccan cuisine if you'd like to try more of our cuisine), do feel free to use other spices of your choice, zaatar could work well I think, and finally some paprika! Feel free to add other ingredients you think would make this even better, but I think for your first time you should try sticking with the more traditional recipe. You may roast the peppers before hand so they're more soft. The rest of the preparation is very easy and straightforward, just put the garlic or other ingredients in along with oil to prepare the pan, then add the diced tomatoes for them to be broken down, no need for paste, and finally adding diced pepper bells. You should wait until they look very soft but not mush either, and you may enjoy it as is! If you need anymore clarifications feel free to ask

Great! I'm very glad I could share my culture with you :D Let me know how it turns out P.S : as you know from the Shakshuka recipe, it's better eaten with bread. As we say in the berber language, Timkliwin (bon apetit)

Uhhh that's really cool! I've always wanted to try Shakshuka, but since I'm vegan I thought it wouldn't really make any sense, so I'm very excited to try this out!^^ PS: do you think I could replace the coriander and parsley with a different herb? (because those two things are literally my least favorite things EVER)

tbh it's even great without the egg if you let it cook for a long time & serve with some olive oil, spices & yogurt or feta!

Fresh coriander (yay!) but stalks get cooked & leaves are left raw.. in any dish. [ Very easy to grow. ]

I understand that I'm not best person to give you any advice about video edits, because I find your videos simply beautiful and laconic. Also you have more experience in this. But one thing feels kinda off - fonts and white color of letters. Sometimes it's hard to notice words, because of the background. Maybe it's good idea to put white letters in black translucent background, so it will have good emphasis on white letters.

It's not isreali It's palestinian, please don't falsely mix cultural dishes to apartheid colonizing states and deprive the indigenous people of their own cultural foods!
