I went 7.3 Gas in my new 2025 F550 plow truck as it won't be inside my garage so I don't need a diesel gelling up on me sitting outside in the deep freeze here in Wi. I'll be putting a Boss DXT 9.2 stainless plow on it along with a salter (undetermined as of now) in the stainless Monroe dump box. I like the Boss DXT plows as they have two trip points and no chain lift, so I can put down pressure on it to better scrape. The salter has to be stainless or poly as well, I avoid steel wherever possible.

That's a really nice setup! Only thing I'd add is an aluminum flat bed for some storage boxes. But if you not going anywhere with it. Looks great!

I have the same plow and just bought the wings. It looks like you fabricated yours? I have a gap where wings meet plow and could fix by drilling new hole. Did you have same issue?

Get rid of the XV2 an go 10 foot straight blade HC with snow foil.

@@stevensilva1350 I own 5 9.6 xv2s and 1 10.6 xv2. There are much better then the straight blade due to being able to scoop snow and to put in v if going up a steep hill with a ton of snow
