Love, love, love the Yacht Club! I stayed there for my honeymoon and it’s the perfect resort for it! The location cannot be beat either! 😊❤

What a beautiful resort. Only have been to the beach club. While there we ate breakfast at the yacht club every morning. I have tender feet and the sand in the bottom of the pool there would help quite a lot. I laughed watching the squirrel eat that chicken tender. He really enjoyed that. As always Meg another awesome vlog!!😊

Loved watching this video. The pool makes this resort extra special. Staying on property makes it very convenient. This will probably be my next resort stay. 😊

Stayed at Yacht Club when they reopened after COVID. Love the resort. It was an odd stay but think things were still kind of in flux. That pool is one of the best, though! Can’t believe you got that close to a Disney squirrel!

Love Yacht Club! Stayed there for the first time in 2020 once the parks reopened after the Covid shut down! Ended up getting a Beach Club resale contract!

Dogs! And Eisner sightings. ;). He must have a special suite reserved just for himself, and maybe his dogs?

Oh my gosh, that pool is absolutely incredible! Can't believe we never knew about that. Very curious how we'd feel about the sandy bottom though. We can't get over how much the inside of the Yacht Club looks like the resort at Vero Beach; so many similarities!

It's improved over the years, It use to have furniture with that awful white pickled finish and carpet. Hurricane Hannah's has great margaritas. Only problem with sand bottomed pools is that you have to take the sand out and clean it, especially with the ducks.

We stayed at the neighboring Beach Club in '09--the pool was the main reason and of course walking access to two of the theme parks at Disneyworld. We were chosen as "Family of the Day" when we checked in and they gave my ten yo daughter balloons, took our picture, and upgraded us to the concierge level which offered free breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and evening drinks. The breakfast and lunch saved us a fortune on food costs. The Beach Club was one of those bucket list type of hotels and we got a good package rate on it. That was also in the days when the Disney hotels had free transportation to the theme parks. It was a hard year for us, '09, I lost my last surviving brother (unexpectedly) a month before we went to the park and my Mom (who we expected to pass from cancer) three months after we came home from Disney. The Disney trip was meant to be, something to help me cope with the year following my Mom's passing when I had to manage dissolution of her estate. My parents and both my bros loved Disney parks. We lived in Burbank from '66-67 which was like having the Anaheim park at our doorstep. We learned the best time to visit a park was when it did not have early entry or late departure. Extended hour days at parks make them more crowded. Our last trip to Disneyworld, we stayed at the Dolphin and had a room with an Epcot firework view. It did have access to extended hours tho not a Disney run hotel, and its pool area was big but not even close to the Yacht and Beach club's variety of water entertainment. I loved the water slide at the Beach Club's pool, and the little niches which my wife, daughter and I had all to ourselves. We have a sand bottom pool at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale an hour from our home in far west Phoenix, AZ. It's ten pool area is one of the most amazing I've ever seen, and for locals they have summer rates at a steep discount compared to their seasonal business rates. By the end of '25, the one thousand room VAI beach resort and Mattel theme park will be open in Glendale, AZ, by our NFL stadium, one of the largest entertainment complexes in the US which also has an outdoor outlet mall. Phoenix is noted for its water parks--the Mattel resort will be our first theme park, designed to beat the heat, its two outdoor coasters will have indoor lines, and it will have a 4d ride like Disney's soaring.

I would have been happy if the entire video had just been you watching & commenting on the squirrel eating the chicken nugget.

Love Stormalog Bay. I recently learned that the reason the lazy river is so deep is because it used to be a snorkeling area with live fish.

With the sand bottom pool you can go swimming and pumice your feet at the same time. ;)
