I used Prezi for the first time recently. The presentation was at a highly structured engineering company and I held my breath a bit over the "sea sick" factor. The feedback was so positive (and unsolicited) that I went ahead and bought a license. This presentation is very well done. Browsing the public presentations is a great way to get ideas as well.

This prezi classic in which you have full control where you want the next slide or page comes. Its basically every small content is on its own local slides with attractive background and illustrations being nested in other parent slides so whenever you click the parent itll reveal its child slides and then afterwards their's and so on. Now there are two versions prezi classic and Prezi Next the first one is more for sequential stuff like dictating a story or more a linear fashion. in new prezi Next you can have Non linear workflow but it provides a bit limited movement then prezi classic. Prezi classic is Hard to learn but gear towards more creativity and control while Prezi next easy to use by using ready made templates and addingg your content.

metatronLTD Did you do a video capture while presenting to get the frames to play at different interval? The lack of ability to customize the timing of each frame is a major issue with Prezi right now. Seems like recording a video of the presentation is the only way to get the custom timed transitions.

Most of it is zoom, rotate, pan and insert animation of text or video. That's what the software is about, it isn't too difficult to do once you learn where the buttons are. Of course this little presentation would have taken a little while due to all the different elements :)
