Any tips for ladies that cannot use round brushes (due to arm and neck pain)?
@SummerBeautyc5 ай бұрын
The blowout brushes work great for this as it's less work. If those are still are difficult for you can rough dry using a vent brush. This allows the air to flow the brush to help speed up the time. I mention it in this video and have it time stamped for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3_Pamdpj6aNnZosi=fo8jB6TnI-wBdsMl&t=318 Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

What shampoo do you recommend for oily hair?
@Spark12215 ай бұрын
Great tips, thanks! Question please: I have thin, straight, fine one-length hair (about 2" longer than yours) but in addition to needing volume, my hair has a lot of frizzies and baby-hair fly-aways...it's basically so light and poofy it easily gets messy-looking. I struggle with volumizing products that leave it MORE frizzy...how can I tamp down the fly-aways/frizz and maintain smoothness + volume? Any advice would be much appreciated, TIA!
@SummerBeautyc5 ай бұрын
A volume cream would probably work really nice in your hair! What I love about Amikas The Shield is that it can also be used on wet hair as well! You could try that or Color Wows Dreamcoat is amazing for frizz control and it's super light weight. What's your blow dry method? Do you use a concentrator nozzle when drying? Do you only rough dry, use a brush? Blowout brush? These can all alter how the hair acts after as well. Let me know so I can give you more direct tips!
@Spark12214 ай бұрын
@@SummerBeautyc thanks for your thoughtful reply! 💕 I use the round brush attachment on a Dyson. I prep my hair with Moroccan oil root boost and an all-over volume spray first. Hi Summer. I live in SW FL. I have very thin, wavy hair. Because of the humidity, I use IGK 4 in 1 followed by their smoothing spray. It works wonders on taming the frizz but doesn’t do much for the volume. I have tried other products but this cocktail is the best combo for me. Any suggestions for adding more volume? It seems volume and keeping my hair from getting big and frizzy are polar opposites.
@SummerBeautyc5 ай бұрын
I would opt to use a root lifter after you've applied your smoothing cream. If you're not leaving your hair naturally wavy I also like using AG Dry Lift Paste. It does have a product feel but it does help bump up my volume some at my roots, esp on my day two or three whether I wear my hair straight or curled. I scoop a size that's smaller than my thumbnail and spread through my fingers and work into my hair by my roots.

Hi Summer. Another great video. I just bought the shark smooth style. It says not to use hair products with it apart from heat protectant and the styler you are using in the video says the same thing on the website so I’m confused. I don’t get any volume at all from the heated brush but I am using volumising products in my hair with it.
@SummerBeautyc5 ай бұрын
I don't know why companies say this. If you can use a heat protectant you can use other products. You won't catch my hair looking like it has volume unless I use products.

Hi Summer, I have fine-medium hair with medium density and frizz - help!!! Second question , I wear swim cap but chlorine still gets in and my highlights are really getting dry - any product and/or other recommendations?
@SummerBeautyc4 ай бұрын
You can always wet your hair prior to your swim cap or spray leave in conditioner in the hair as well. If the hair is already wet it can only absorb so much more water so it may help to not absorb as much chlorine.

Did you buy the T3 blowout brush or one of their actual dryers. I have a Laifen and it is a great dryer. The only thing I don't like about it is that the cord is very short, I'm not sure if that's something they've changed or not.

@@SummerBeautyc oh, good to know! I think I’m going to buy it! I have a T3 hairdryer and I feel like I could’ve bought something comparable at Walmart! It doesn’t produce enough air so it’s like I’ve gotta fry my hair to get it dry!

Hey there, I was just wondering as I was watching this video. Have you ever tried reckon inject or is there anybody? Do you know if that could be a good shampoo just wondering?
@SummerBeautyc4 ай бұрын
I bought that recently, but not the conditioner. The first time I used it I felt like, paired with my MO products I had sooo much body in my blowdry. But I also had been trying out some new volume products and went back to MO so I'm not sure if it was the shampoo or that my MO products perform better than the other styling products I had been trying. Hopefully this makes sense. I do like how it cleans the hair, it doesn't feel as drying to me as some volume shampoos can feel. Still need to use it more to get a better opinion on long use.

@@SummerBeautyc Thank you so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. I’ll keep looking out for the best volume products out there it’s kinda hard cause I have pixie cut so I use a lot of pomade, but I did see quite other KZbinrs, who really like their Moroccan oil mousse so maybe I’ll give that a shot I know they’re shampoo and conditioner is a little too heavy for my hair.
