A21 definitely makes the small progressions exciting. They've set the chance of rain pretty high for the forest biome (10% for rain/storm) as TFP want to inflict their new darker darkness on you while you're raiding POIs. You may want to make a padded helmet to get that headlamp with you. Wrenching cars is the fast-track to basic materials in A21. A number of things have had their drop-items changed, so it's worth checking things out. Looking forward to seeing how infestation quests go for you. 😄

The early game is so fun. I love how A21 makes it longer without skipping different tiers of progression.

The beaker isn't as 'critical' as it used to be since it's included early in Jen's inventory. It also appears as a quest reward. Further, it's going to take you a long time to get a vehicle that needs gas or tools to make gunpowder mining useful. 🤷‍♂
