I love how portable the Air Fanta 3 Pro is. I have no immediate need for it but it's definitely on my packing list for my next train trip.

Yes its so unique in this respect, there is nothing like it on the market when having a high CADR air purifier you can travel with.

A+ video. I have a luggable on my list for my next upgrade, I currently deal with the levoit 300 I have in my bedroom by using on the higher speeds in combination with my noise canceling headphones but it’s a loud product that I don’t want to buy again. The exhalaron is really great and everyone who sees it is intrigued and interested. Thanks for these useful reviews. 😊

Thank you. You get a big jump in performance at low sound level with the Luggable XL over the 300 and hopefully cost savings over time vs having to go down the route of OEM filters.

The production value of the new videos feel a lot better for some reason!! Also in regards to even smaller air purifiers it's possible to replace the stock PC fan to a more quiet high-end PC fan. I have done so with the Smart Air QT3 and the LG Puricare Mini, with Noctua's 120mm and 60mm slim fans and they are very quiet!! But I'm pretty sure it would not be very effective at cleaning the air by itself, though probably still much better than nothing...!

Thank you all goes to the effort that Rodrigo and Gisele did in upgrading the studio area - its great to see someone comment on this. Funnily enough we were talking about that as we have been doing lots of testing with fans with the new Nukit Tempest Europe. SmartAir have already said they are keen to see if we can upgrade the QT3 and we also have a Puricare Mini so will look at that too - great idea!

Just found this channel and love it. I am considering a kit. I would love to see a speed controller and recommendation for one. Also would love to see a fan comparison. Top picks I am considering is Bequiet Silent Wing 4 140mm, Noctua NF-A14x24 G2, or Phantek D30-140 fans for the Nukit. I know it inflats the price but I love the idea of repair for life on this and 140mm are quieter then 120mm on the CleanAirKit.

Hey thanks for the kind words! I am actually working on a review for the new Nukit Tempest Europe that uses IKEA filters as it did come with a cheap PWM controller that worked well but I am also looking to create a complete Noctua version so Noctua power, PWM controller and industrial fans - its not cheap but the end result was a beast when it came to cleaning the air although it's not very quiet at fullspeed! Keep an eye on this video in a few weeks as I will test a few different fan types to see which works best so you might find useful.

Having bought both the Noctua and BeQuiet fans, they have about the same noise volume but the sound they make sounds different. Obvious it’s subjective but I much prefer the BeQuiet fans. I returned the Noctua one.

Yeah, the fragility thing is a problem for me with the Luggable XL. I didn't realize how delicate it would be. I'm about to build a Nukit Tempest. I prefer the shape and I'm betting the steel isn't going to make me think it'll fall to pieces when replacing filters.
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
You do get a lot more durability with the metal frame design of the Tempest. I'm testing and reviewing the Nukit Tempest Europe at the moment which uses Ikea filters instead of HVAC whcih are hard to get over here. You get the same durability as the original US version.

Thank you for all of the videos I appreciate it. I picked up the levoit vital 100s from one of your videos. It's in a bedroom. I just leave it on auto all day and sleep mode during the night. Is that the best way to run it. This is my first purifier and I'm a bit of a novice so apologies if this is a stupid question.
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
If you just want it for occasional issues and are not looking to improve the amount of air changes in a room then auto-mode is fine. It will save your filters and energy usage. But I reccomend that most people should find the speed they are OK with and then let it run continously to provide regular cleaning of the air - this is especially important for those with allergies, or want to reduce risk of airborne viruses.

Hey. Found your channel as I got into the thing with these purifiers 😂. Love the idea of build an own but have lack of time currently. I ordered some big puries from DAYETTE. Did not see abtest from you but all the other big Devises are too expensive... Your vids are great. You should have more follower. You habe one more now!!

Hahah I got into these things back in 2010 so I know the feeling. Let me know how you get on with the DAYETTE purifiers and if you think I should test and review in future. Its been great to see the numbers of people intereacting with us going up and I am super grateful you are following the channel,

Thank you so much! I can see the Levoit is not a HEPA filter unfortunately. I am looking for a quiet air purifier with HEPA filter and a pre filter. Do you have any recommendations? 🙏🏼
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
If you wanted HEPA grade then another popular brand is Winix, depending on your location I would look at the Winix 5500-2 (US) or Zero S (UK and EU) My reviews: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIOopHqClJqHe7c& kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioSle6ejjMSDnpY& They both have pre-filters, True HEPA filter and good amount of power for the intial price. Depending on room size you could use them on speed 3 (less than 45dB) and still get a good level of air changes per hour.
@juliehgelund41212 ай бұрын
@ Thank you for your answer! I will look into the Winix

Even if a carbon filter runs out on a bonded filter, you can get very thin mesh carbon as a pre filter. Depending on the size needed there may be an exact fit, but it is also available in bulk.
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
You can but you might find that the carbon will start to smell like the smells it has removed from your air. Far better to have non-bonded that you can in a stretch use it without a new carbon filter when it starts to smell as you just throw that part away.

Will you test the new Resiners Air Purifier please? I work with resin and I want to ensure tvocs and CO2 are reduced. Thanks for considering my request.
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
@@sowhat7472 I was told about it but as it doesn’t seem to have more carbon than a standard air purifier I find it hard to understand what it brings to the market that you don’t get with other models.

When are yiu going to review the WINIX C909?? The upgrage to thr 5500-2. But with the cheaper carbon filter on the C909, seems like a huge downgrade
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
As I am based in the UK its hard to get the Costco US models like the C909 but will I will be able to get the Winix 9800. Be aware that both are based on the same internals as the 5500-2 but also come with a app support so if you don't need app support you can keep the cheaper model. Will try to get a review out soom
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
You might find like I did with the Winix Zero S, that you can use the type H filters with pelleted carbon with the C909 but would need to make sure they haven't added any design blocks before saying this with confidence.

I am a HUGE fan. But I am wondering if you would be open to testing a purifier? There is a popular company on Amazon Canada called Jafanda (models JF888 and JF999) and they make very reasonably priced HEPA purifiers. They trade blows with the popular Medify MA-112. They use thick HEPA filters with 2-3lbs of carbon pellets. Amazing they are only a few hundred $ cad, and filters are $80 cad. Part of me thinks it's too good and I am ready to get the Coway 1512 but now i'm not sure. How much can I trust these filters when certifications can be made up? ----------->For instance. The JF888 has 54db in max while sleep mode is 22db. 488CFM max and uses two chonky filters
@HouseFresh2 ай бұрын
I'm glad you like the channel! I'm always open to testing new air purifiers when I can. Looking at the listing I expect this device is an OEM design from one of the big Chinese factories that they allow other brands to logo up and sell for them. These factories will do all the testing so it's likely true the CADR scores. This isn't inherently bad, especially if the price is cheap, but from my experience, there is potential that the company you bought from may not exist in a few years, and quality may vary a lot. I prefer to stick to popular models as you can be a lot more confident that you can get filters in the future. I personally would look at something like the Coway Airmega 200M to see if you can get a good price this black Friday, as it's the upgraded version of the 1512-hh and uses the same filters.
